Having read all of the forum's great advice (thanks loads everyone!), we are really keen to try BOMA as the menu seems really interesting. We are staying offsite by the way.

We were planning to make a PS for a quiet day when we hadn't been to any of the parks. Will we need to use our Disney tickets to get to BOMAs or can you get to the resorts without using your Disney passes?

Don't really want to waste one of our ticket days on going for a meal at the resorts.

We have a car so will be driving.

Tickets are only good for the parks. Visiting one of the resorts is just that, visiting. Just like visiting any resort.:)
You may have to pay for parking though, so carry some small money for that.
Have fun on your trip.
Kim
PS... added ...the money would most likely be for valet parking.

The parking lot is very close to the resort. You wont need to valet park. Make sure that you have time to look at all the resort. Out the big back glass doors there are viewing areas for other animals and lots of neat stuff in the lobby area. Enjoy.

THanks Kim,

What's the advantage of Valet parking - is it a long walk to the car park?
It's not a long walk, but if it's raining or particularly hot or humid, it can be nice to drive right up, under the canopy and have someone else deal with your car.
