Question about early check in

I'm going to be in Orlando September 12-14 on business. On Wednesday the 14th, a bunch of us will at CitiWalk doing the typical "end of a conference" thing... My wife is flying in Thursday morning on the 15th, landing about 11AM. We have two nights booked at the RPR, the 15-17.

If I am still at CitiWalk at say 2:00AM on the morning of the 15th, qould I be able to "check in" to pick up the room keys for later that day? That way, if I wanted to do early entry for WWOHP before the wife arrives, I could save a few steps in the morning...

I have never done a check in at 2am. But I do know that early check in is ok. Your room may not be ready, but they will give you the keys to your room when you check in. The key card will not work on the room door until they activate it when your room is ready. I would just call RPR and ask the front desk if you can just stop in at 2am to check in.

I believe I read somewhere the earliest someone could check in was at 6 am.....without having the room of course... just to be able to head to the parks...

Not sure though..
