Question about DVC rep

My DH and I did the DVC tour last Friday while in Disney. After much resaerch we have decided to buy from Disney rather than resale. We knew our rep was out of the office Tues and yesterday. I called yesterday and told him to call me today to go over purchase details. I still haven't heard from him -I know it's only noon but I'm so excited I want to do this. My kids have dr. appts this afternoon so I don't want to miss the call. Should I call and ask if he's in? Is this normal? Should I request another rep?

I don't think a call would hurt.

I know when I bought in I was in a similar situation, awaiting my rep's call, and it turned out she was showing another couple the DVC tour and she called as soon as they left.
 
Sometimes they get called away to do tours. They will call. My rep was on the phone with me last month and was hoping they wouldn't call her for a tour. They have shceduled tours and unscheduled.
 

Update!!! I did call and he answered and said he was preparing to call me. So, we are now owners of 230 points at AKL!! YEA! I am so excited!! Thanks for the advice - I'm sure I'll be asking for much more in the weeks to come! ::yes::
