If I book through DU now but there are no discounts yet, and a discount becomes available, will they change the reservation? We're hoping for codes or AP rates and I want to know if DU makes the changes to existing ressies for you. If anyone has used DU, please share your experience. Thank you!!!!!!

Hi. DU is great! I currently have a WDW vacation booked with DU & have used DU for our last WDW & DCL trip. As the answer to your question, YES, DU can apply discounts when they become available, hopefully soon Your TA with DU looks every day for discounts & I think either just apply the discounts & send you an email, or asks you first, can't remember. Have fun planning your trip!

I used DU once and got 2 great deals after I made my reservations. I had originally booked ASMU for 7 days. Codes came out so I decided to see if they would split my stay at ASMU & POR. then upsells came out, so again I emailed them to split my stay between POR & AKL. It was a great trip. I got to try a moderate and a deluxe for great prices.

I seemed to stay one step ahead of DU. I booked 9 months early for rack rates so I had plenty of time to watch for codes to come out, and always emailed them for requests. Usually I knew of the the codes before my TA did. My last trip I did myself with good rewards. Just keep watching the boards for any codes for your time, and let them know you want the code applied to your reservation in case they miss it.

DU was great for the two trips I used them for. Misti was so patient with me after all the changes I kept making and she did convert my ressies to codes when they became available. Now I just wish I could work for them!

I am so happy that you all have had good experiences with DU. We are thinking of using them, but I had some reservations about going with an online company. It's reassuring to know that you had success with them. Thanks for asking for me, scanne! I only found these boards since my last vacation in December, I wish I had seen them before. I've read more helpful info in 2 weeks than I had in the 4 years we've been going to disney. It's so great! Thank you all!

I have also used DU the last 3 trips to WDW and they are a great service!! I can't tell you how many times I have switched resorts, requests, and even discounts and they are always very helpful. I haven't had much luck though, switching ressies from DU to DisSavers however, but other than that I highly reccommend.
