Question about Disney Visa rewards...

I know you get a 1% reward in Disney Dollars, but would this apply towards things I buy while at Disney or my Disney stay? I'm not sure about how this works exactly. Help please?

Sure can! You will be able to use the Disney Reward card in either DL or WDW, ordering things online at the Disney Store, or in any Disney Store. When you check your Disney Visa balance online, there's a drop down list that has "Manage Rewards." After your first 10, you transfer your Disney Reward Dollar balance to your Disney Reward Card which they will send out to you. Thereafter, you can transfer your Disney Reward Dollar balances to your card, again in increments of 10. You can have two Rewards cards (no more) attached to the Visa card. Just keep transferring your Reward balances as they accumulate. At the "Manage Reward" screen it will let you know when the dollars expire. You can also print out all info through there, or order, for free, a pamphlet when you order your card that explains it in great detail. Have fun!!

After the first increment of 10 Reward Dollars, you can transfer as many as you earn. I've been running all my monthly bills through my card first in order to get the reward dollars. They do have a new program whereby you can earn more than 1%, but it rarely seems to materialize on my statements even though I spend way more than the minimum $250 a month. In any case, we have been collecting reward dollars for almost 2 years now and plan to use them for meals and souvenirs in WDW this fall.

Because I have way too much time on my hands and I ignore my daily chores to get this extra time, I have calculated that I need to stop using the card around August 25 in order to collect any dream dollars I've earned and transfer them to my rewards card before our Oct 1-8 trip. At this point I will probably start using my airline rewards visa to start working on tickets for the next trip!

Once you are logged into your account, you should your account summary. There is a drop-down box under account actions where you will find "Manage Rewards".

I just have received my new dvc card, and I have to say, "I am slow but, sure" It takes me a while to catch on, but when I do, look out.

I understand, that we get one dollar for every hundred? Do you put your morgage on this too? My husband and I are going to charge everything also.
I don't understand the part where you said :

Hi, PAtricia!!

I want to stop using my card because I plan to use up all my Disney Dream Dollars while we are on vacation in WDW, that was the whole reason I got the Disney Card. Once I have charged all I can in order to get my dollars BEFORE our trip, I will start using another card that gives me airline miles, or something like that. I Have a child to send to college soon, so this is probably our big WDW trip for a while!

I would LOVE to earn rewards for my mortgage! Unfortunately I don't think our company allows cc payments. Is there a special way to do it?

Thanks ExPirateShopGirl it was easier you explaining it. I have been reading up on it, (just got my card last week) and it was a bit confusing.

I totally, understand, the college thing. My oldest, is in college, & I am part of that American unspoken poor 4 year club, called "Operation College Tuition"
