Question about Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice: A Disneyland Adventure is coming to town in mid November. I've never been to a Disney on Ice show and was thinking of taking DS5 to see it.

Tickets are $16, $28, $45, $70, & $85. I was thinking of maybe buying the $28 tickets for us.

Has anyone seen it? What were your thoughts? Do they do anything prior to the show?

We have been to 2 Disney on Ice shows -- Princess Wishes and Worlds of Fantasy. The productions are fantastic, done in true Disney style. We found the cheapest tix are still excellent seats, at least at our arena here.

Just be prepared...the souvenirs and whatnot will bankrupt you. Also in true Disney style

We've been to 4 different Disney on Ice shows. We love them. I agree about the souveniers though.
I don't remember anything being done ahead of time. Enjoy and don't forget to wear sweatshirts!

I kind of thought the same about the souvenirs. Just last year for going to see the circus I paid $8 dollars for a snowcone in a tiger cup!! And I also recall the prices from our Wiggles concert in August.

Thanks also for the tip of taking sweaters..didn't think about that!

I've been to so many of these shows, I've lost count. My recommendation is to splurge on the higher priced tickets if you can--especially if your kids are very young. Nothing beats being very close to the ice for one of these things. I've done it both ways and it just wasn't as good the farther back I was. However, I do realize that the expensive seats can put a real dent in the budget.
