What type of desserts are offered at the CS spots? And do you have to order the dessert with your lunch or dinner? Or can you get it separately?

Most have prepackaged cakes, some have ice cream bars, some have "real" cake and pies. I think they are listed in the menu section at wdwinfo.com (link at top of the page)

I've usually had to get it with my meal EXCEPT at Pop Century I just told the cashier I wanted an ice cream sundae and then I took my receipt up to the guy when I was ready for it. I think they usually put a time limit on this - like 2 hours?

Are the desserts packaged so you can take them with you without much of a problem?

You must order the dessert in the same transaction with your entree. Many CS will permit you to go back for a frozen dessert, but you must return to the same CS within a certain period of time.

The cakes were in a plastic container. Not too hard to take with you. We usually took our back to the room and ate them the next morning. I know we had carrot cake and chocolate cake. Also at the Mexican place in Epcot they had Churros.

So, if I order an ice cream dessert, I can go back and get it after I eat? As long as I have the receipt?
