Question about DDE

I was wondering if you can use the DDE when doing character meals? It is good for those or just regular meals? Thanks so much. We are trying to decide if we should purchase it or not.

It is good at all table service and buffets in the parks and the resorts (except Japan). This includes the character meals. It is also good at the lounges in the deluxe hotels, the food courts in the value resorts and POFQ, and counter service in AK.
