Question about DCL's onboard booking discount for ABD

Hi,

I've seen a few posts about people booking ABD trips while on a Disney cruise to receive a 10% discount. We are looking to book a trip with ABD, and are doing the Hawaii cruise on the Wonder in October, so getting a discount for booking the trip while on the cruise is tempting. Does anyone know if ABD bookings with this onboard discount is going to be offered on all Disney ships and cruises, or is it a limited time or ship specific offer? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I really don't know much about this offer, it's pretty new. I'd suggest that you also post this question on the DCL Forum. Someone there is likely to know the scoop!

there is 10 percent discount for booking a cruise. We just got back from a Disney cruise and the only ABD discount was a special $200 per room discount offered since they had a special ABD get together on the podcast cruise.

I was on the Fantasy at the beginning of June, and they were offering a 10% discount on all ABD's with the exclusion of the cruise add-on ABD's. I was told it was only going to be on the Fantasy, but that it had been well-received, so maybe they will add it to the other ships as well. You still had the normal 14day deposit policy in which to change your mind in order to get your deposit back.

Having just got back from the Dream, I asked that question. Future cruises department was not able to do anything with the Mediterranean cruise add-on. Even pushed it up through the manager. They were only able to book the cruise with standard 10% discount, $200 stateroom credit, and 10% down payment. The add on will be added by DU with their generous stateroom credit.
