I am going to spend the next few months making Cruise Line cards. Why months?:confused3 Well there are four ships, lots of great background art and many characters who might be on the ships.

Disney listed the following characters as possibly being on all four cruises Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Chip & Dale, Goofy, Pluto, Max, Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Lilo, Stitch, Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Dopey, Aurora, Tiana, Ariel & Captain Jack Sparrow.

Cruisers posted that the following characters have also been sighted – Smee, Pinocchio, Buzz, Woody, Jessie, Phineas and Ferb, Jake the Neverland Pirate, Emile, Remy, Tinker Bell, Carl (UP), Aladdin, Genie, Terk, White Rabbit, Queen of Hearts, Jiminy, Mr & Mrs Incredible & Koda and Kenai (Alaska cruise).

Plus, I obsess over each card, for of the ones I just did I think I changed the color of the frame 8 times. :lmao: But in the end, if I had fun doing it, than it was all worth it. So the saga begins. Here are a few for the Magic as someone had specifically asked for those. I realized once I started that I wasn't that fond of the background so I will be doing a few more sets.

I have a few more of these, but won't post them all as they are the same except for the character, color of the frame and each have a name and non name option. :goodvibes

I will be back with more tomorrow, for now I am going to go help Jim cut the grass:scared1: Penny

I realized that I had previously made Autograph Cards & Covers for the Cruise. So i rearranged some stuff. I made copies, rather than move as I didn't want to break old links. However going forward,
Cruise Cards (generic) will be posted here

If a card is cruise ship specific, each Cruise Ship has it's on folder and they are in the sub-albums on this side of this album

&
Cruise Autograph Covers will be posted here

Thanks everyone, Penny

OK, Here are some generic ones. Remember, any can be turned into Cruise Autograph Covers and any character can be put on most any card.:goodvibes

I built this one using two different backgrounds because the one I have with the castle and beach is very small and when you enlarge it becomes pixalated which is why I made it so light, so you can't see the fuzziness. I put this two (actually 3 different backgrounds and it took a few hours, but looks ok:thumbsup2

Yay - more new cards to play with! I added your links to the autograph book thread. :goodvibes

Thanks, obviously I didn't think of adding it to the new DISigner listing:scared1: & I can't go back and just add it in as the posting has so much formatting in it between the bold, the font, the size, etc., it is so hard to find something specific. I will just have to wait for the next revision in the fall. :goodvibes
Thanks for adding me to your first page.:thumbsup2 Much appreciated, :worship: Penny:hippie:

Oh My when you take on something you really put your heart into it Hon. They all look wonderful!
Big Hugs
Mel:hug:

:worship: I love these! You did an amazing job. Thanks so much for this!

Thank you, I see you have the B2B NY Magic in your signature. I love a photo I found on line of the statue of Liberty and one of the Cruise ships. I am soooo making that into an autograph card. :thumbsup2Glad you are enjoying them. Penny:hippie:

Sounds great. I can't wait for our b2b cruises. To think that exactly 7 days from today, my feet will be on the Magic! Woohoo!

OK, remember, I don't know about Cruising. I think the ship below is the Fantasy? But I don't know if & the Magic look different:confused3. If they don't this card would work for your trip, but I didn't know the dates and what it was called? anyway, I love this photo and thought I would do this in case it worked for you. Obviously, I can also do it blank. :goodvibes

The ship has the fantasy written on the side so it won't work for your trip. :sad2: Sorry, Penny:goodvibes

Thank you! Thank you! I was just looking for stuff to make autograph books for our cruise! I love love love what you have made!:worship:

Why thank you very much, that is kind of you. :flower3: Penny

These are brilliant Penny! What program do you use? I think we may use the same one. Just wonderin'. :)

I use Photo Impact. I like it and I know how to use it, which for me is half the battle. I have been using it for years so I have learned some things. Each year I learn a little more. For example, this year I learned that I can convert the object type when using a clipart image, give it a shadow so it looks 3D, then convert it back. So now whenever I redo a DISign, I give the clipart a shadow. When I first started making the cards I used a limited number of frames and didn't know how to change the color or bevel them, now I spend hours obsessing over the right bevel and the right color frame.:goodvibes My goal some day is to be able to color in coloring pages, do some of the stuff that you, Marion, Dom and others do. My ultimate goal is to create the resort Mickey heads that Triple Figs did years ago. People have done them since (including me) but none compare to hers. I think she used PSE, in fact I think most of you guys use PSE. :wizard: Again, thanks for the kind words. DH is finishing up his OTA program so I have lots of free time as he is buy studying (no children, just a dog :goodvibes). Once he's done, he will be busy studying for his licensing test, then he will start a new job. So I will still have lots of free time to DISign. :scared1:Once he gets a job and get's good health insurance, I can retire next year (DH is younger than I). Then I will have lots of time to DISign. My goal when I retire is to learn PSE. That & become a travel agent. So, aren't you sorry, you asked:lmao: I do love to ramble on. :rolleyes1Believe it or not I am pretty shy in real life. :upsidedow Take care, Penny (and thanks again for the kind words)

Nope, not sorry at all. I like to get to know you. I'm pretty shy myself in real life. You will never see me starting up a conversation in a grocery store line. I get nervous talking to people.

We do use the same program. I bought mine a few years ago when we were planning our cruise, and that is when I became a DISign addict. I'll probably buy photoshop eventually, but I'm comfortable with what I can do using PhotoImpact, so there is no rush for me. I thought I recognized some of the bevels, that's why I asked. :)

You should make a retirement countdown ticker. ;)

P.S. If you ever need any help with anything please don't hesitate to ask!
