Question About Cruise Lines????? Please

Nope, not sorry at all. I like to get to know you. I'm pretty shy myself in real life. You will never see me starting up a conversation in a grocery store line. I get nervous talking to people.

We do use the same program. I bought mine a few years ago when we were planning our cruise, and that is when I became a DISign addict. I'll probably buy photoshop eventually, but I'm comfortable with what I can do using PhotoImpact, so there is no rush for me. I thought I recognized some of the bevels, that's why I asked.

You should make a retirement countdown ticker.

Any time Penny! I still learn something new every day I DISign and I would love to share what I have figured out with the program. You seem to do a pretty great job on your own though. I'd be happy to show you how to get the 3d Mickey head effect as well. Bring it on, I'm ready for ya!

I would love some company in my little corner. It's funny, because I actually like to do a lot of volunteer work and go to every social gathering with my husband, but, like your hubby, he is usually the one that does all of the mingling. I usually just smile politely, say hello when I need to and then silently "observe."

If you go here. I did the first two, but the ears were off. Dom fixed it up so I could use it.
I didn't do the BW OR WL heads, I giffed them from Triple Figs.
I did the Grand Fla one, but then couldn't put a circle around it and fix ears so they would work. So I got half way there and after hours of playing around, I gave up. So at this point I can't remember what I did to make the head 3D so I would need to start over. I would love to make a real good BoardWalk one. That's my goal some day. thanks, P

Music Mouse also does Autograph Cards. I am mentioning that because some things have come up in my personal life that has taken me away from the boards. I will get some more cruise DISigns done, but probably not before 7/21. ( I will try but can't promise) Sorry, Penny

I started working on what I thought were generic DCL cards. After doing about a dozen cards I notice that when you enlarge the card the writing on the side of the boat identified it as the Magic? So I erased the Magic and uploaded a couple of the cards. Now I have never taken a cruise or seen a cruise ship. Since I erased the Magic on the side of the boat is it still obvious it's the Magic or will the cards suffice as DCL cards? Please give me your advice? thanks, Penny

I am pretty happy with the deck and the moutain ones as I used two different photos I found and giffed the deck and put it over another cruise ship which you can't see. That took me a few hours but I am happy with the result.

These I really didn't do, I found the photos on line and cropped them and framed them.

If someone wants any of these turned into Autograph covers, that's easy enough to do. also, I didnt finish all of them because I wondered if people wanted the backgrounds lighter so the autographs would show up or since there's a lot of white space/sky, is that light enough for the autographs. Please give me feedback and I will finish them up in the next few weeks. Penny

These are fantastic! I love the ones for The Wonder with the characters coming out of the top and stuff. We are going on the Magic from NYC to Canada on August 12th. Do you have any for those (not necessarily with the date, just letting you know when I'm leaving? Also, do you make covers with other characters (meaning can I request specific ones) or only what you have?

Have you ever made an autograph book? I read somewhere on here about using chipboard and I can't find it anywhere. I'm wondering if you have any other suggestions on how to make the cover.

Penny, these are GREAT! I have not cruised yet but the only thing that I could see that may stand out is that Dream and Fantasy have the AquaDuck. That is noticeable in pictures. Though, with these designs I like it the way they are, though, that is just my opinion.

Also, it will be a special Pixar theme- so in addition to the regular characters they will have Buzz, Jesse, Woody, Carl and a few others...... Do you have any designs for this cruise? Something with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background would be really cool too!!!! thanks!!!!
