Hi I was needing some advice or answers about CP. We have reservations for it on Christmas Eve. There is a total of 11 of us in our party. I have 80+ year old grandparents(who would not be able to spend the entire day at the park) and my father will be arriving later in the day due to having to work. My question is if the parks are closed earlier on in the day due to full capicity, how will they be able to get in? The tickets are all in my name. I guess where the confusion begins is I have been told something different every time I call DW. I have been told I could pick up my tickets at my resort when I check in, I have been told I was unable to do that and I would need to pick up my tickets at guest services once inside epcot. The answer I got today was as long as they have a confirmation # they would be fine, but I was told earlier I needed to get the tickets w/ a photo ID (So how would someone else be able to pick up tix) , then I called back and was told I could get my tickets at the resort and hand them to them earlier and that it should not be a problem. So this is total confusion....So any advice would be appreciated. I have worried grandparents b/c they think they will have to spend the entire day at epcot so they can go to their dinner ressies that nite.

We've been to CP on Christmas Eve. The park should not be closed at that time of day, so they shouldn't have any problem getting into Epcot and dining. Your CP tickets are separate from your park tickets. You can pick up your park tickets at the hotel. Most years we had to pick up the CP tickets at Guest Services outside the front of Epcot. The last time, I think we got them at our resort from the concierge/ticket/guest assistance desk. But I don't remember.

You have two sets of tickets per person, park ticket and CP dining ticket. That might be where the CM is getting confused on getting you a correct answer.

Christmas Eve is not a heavy Epcot day. New Year's Eve, however, is jammed.

You should be able to pick up both sets of tickets (park tickets and Candlelight Processional tickets) at your resort's lobby concierge. Are you a Florida resident, or is anyone in your party? If so, park tickets will need to be picked up at the park's guest relations. Once you have checked in, why not head to the Lobby Concierge and check. If you received a confirmation number, bring that with you.
