Question about couples and castle stays

Do only "families" and larger parties get picked for the castle stay? Does anyone know of any examples of a single couple winning a night in the castle?

An older couple (70s) here in Celebration won it. It was totally random and based on the fact that they were on a certain ride in a certain seat at a certain time.

DH and I are going in December and since we'll only be there for a few days, I doubt we'll stand a prayer at getting picked (being in the right place at the right time) but its good to know there's at least a chance. Seems like most of the examples I've seen involved families with kids.

That's probably because those (families) make the best PR!

The couple actually ended up inviting their neighbors w/triplets to join them, but that was their choice. That would be impossible for most anyone who is not a local.

I interviewed them for a magazine article, and it sounded like such a magical experience. You never know...they just happened to spontaneously ride the Great Movie Ride and BOOM!

I was in MK last Tuesday and a single guy won the castle stay! At least, they announce his name only, he rode in the parade alone, and he was alone with the dream team getting off Haunted Mansion! Lucky, lucky, him.

We were there too and saw that guy. My wife and I couldn't believe it, but it just goes to show you how random the dream giveaways must be. Good for him. He looked like a very proud winner in the parade.

We were there for the entire week (me, DW, DD6, and DS2)... in a park every day and we gots NUTHIN'! Never even saw a dream team.
