Question about confirmations-please help

I got my reservations at Port Orleans Riverside with a friends and family discount. I know that the person who works for Disney needs to go show her ID at the resort, but-her child is sick and she is unable to go. I leave in 5 days and am wondering, what if she went to the resort tomorrow or Friday or even Saturday. Will they still allow the discount? Also-if she ends up not going and showing it at all, what will happen to my reservation, etc.

I am going on my honeymoon and this is the least but newest of my problems. Someone feed me a chill pill!

She can go ahead of time and show her ID card. Make sure that it is noted in the reservation. If she can't make it then you don't get the discount. They are very strict about this.

We had the same problem last May with my best friend, who was working a 12 hour shift at Epcot and couldn't get there in time for our check-in, they let her fax a copy of her ID card and it was on our reservations when we arrived. I have even carried a copy of her ID with me to check-in. Of course she called first to let them know she gave me a copy and if there were any problems just to call.
The main thing it to just BREATH...in the nose...out the mouth. It will all work out.
