Question about Coffee & Hair Dryers & Busses- SSR

Coffee: What kind of coffee pots are in the rooms at SSR? My in-laws will want coffee in the mornings. Is there only enough provided for one day? Will they need to bring their own filters? What type? (Sorry- I'm not a coffee drinker, so I'm completely clueless here)

Hair Dryers: Are they good, multi-temp hair dryers or small, 1 temp ones? I don't want to pack mine, but will if I need to.

Busses: What order are the busses picking up in now? Just curious as to which areas are picked up first/last.

I can only answer your coffee question: it's a standard 12 cup coffee maker (think Mr. Coffee) They gave us 2 packs of coffee with filters, so enough for two days out of the 5 we stayed. I prefer to bring my own pre-ground anyway. Tip: use bottled water if available as the FL water has a taste other than what most folk are accustomed to.

DD used the hairdryer this last trip and I believe it had 2 settings - can't swear to it though.

ETA: the coffee maker should be a 12 c. pot in every room, studios included. The only time we encountered otherwise was when I called for a replacement and housekeeping could only locate a 4 c. unit. They apologized profusely about not having the proper maker or the 4c filters to go with the replacement. LOL.

To follow up on what the OP asked. You get 2 packs of coffee as twinklebug said, one caf and one decaf. Additional coffee packs are $5-6 you get 4, I think.

It's cheaper to stop at Publix and buy 100 paper filters, and a pound of coffee. I seem to recall the coffee makers in the studios are the little 4 cup ones. All the others have a 10-12 cup maker, which does a reasonable job compared to say the Nescafe at the parks.

One last thought... You know BLT is one short Monorail ride from the Poly...Ummm Kona Cafe...

I always bring my own hairdryer because those in the villas and hotels just don't seem to blow enough.

I seem to remember that we used to get one caf and one decaf coffee pack several years ago, but in the recent past we only got one - caf only, no decaf. This could have changed again, but I haven't been there since last summer.

Coffee: The coffee pots (in the 1BR & 2BRs at least) are full size. They take the basket-style filters. You get a coffee pack in your room upon check-in but it is only enough for one pot, I think (we don't use that coffee so I can't really remember). We've always packed our own coffee from home along with a few dozen basket filters that I bought to use on our DVC trips. Ask your in-laws to bring along their favorite coffee or find out what they like and surprise them!

Hair Dryers: They have the small type that are attached to the wall in the bathroom. I've used them in the past but I'm not sure about the multi-temp although I believe they have low-medium-high blower settings.

Busses: The bus order for the parks is Grandstand - Carousel - Paddock - Congress Park - Springs. For DTD I think the Springs comes first then GS - C - P - CP (last).

A PP said he thought they were 4 cup- I personally have no first hand knowledge because my family has never stayed in a studio. Anyone know for sure??
