Question about Citricos lounge

Is it possible to get items from the citrocs restaurant menu in the citricos lounge?
Perhaps even under the right circumstances ? (for example, at Crew's Cup in the boardwalk if they're not busy, they'l allow you to order from the Yachtsman's menu)
We've dined at citrcos in the past and adored the menu, but don't care for anything on Lounge menu. I'm thinking we might pop into citricos the night we arrive, so I don't want to be tied down to a reservation or feel obligated to each order an entree (yes, I know the restaurant will not require us to each order an entree, but being former servers, we feel weird/guilty about going into a restaurant, taking up a server's table and sharing a entree) so sitting at a bar, having a few drinks and sharing a dish is right up our alley in this situation.
Anyone been able to order off the citrcos menu at the lounge?

I'm pretty sure you can get the full menu at the bar. I know it has been offered to me when there was a long wait for a table, but this was several years ago.

1) There really is not a "lounge" at Citricos.
2) It is just a unobtrusively sectioned-off area at the front of the restaurant.
. . . no privacy
. . . no intimate feel of a lounge
. . . no change for mood lighting
3) In fact, most people don't even recognize it as a lounge area, except for the actual bar which is along the wall on their Left as they enter
4) They have their own Tapas menu, but some people have been able to order from the restaurant menu.

Thank you, but we've been to the lounge many times before and have always been very pleased with it, we've just never attempted to order food there, only gotten drinks.
I guess to us a lounge is not necessarily about mood lighting or stuff like that, it's about a slightly more laid-back feel than sitting at a table & about interaction with a bartender vs. a server.
We've never attempted to order food at the lounge, but when looking at their "lounge" menu online, none of the options appeal to me the way the citricos "restaurant" menu does - but we always appreciate the lounge area

We always eat at the bar at Citricos and always order from the full menu.

IN fact, that's what we do in each and every WDW restaurant we frequent.

I can't imagine they would not let you do so in the Citricos "lounge".

I agree with this--I think it's the norm at a lot of WDW restaurants that have bar seating. Have done this at the Wave--which I love by the way--and the California Grill. However, I'm sure I've seen other postings on this very topic with lists of all of the bar/lounges where you can order off the full restaurant menus. Maybe under the Solo/Adult travelers forum?
