Hello!
I have heard about Chip n Dale's Campfire event with smores and such the other day on here. I would like some more information on it, so if any of you have done this, or know anything about it...please let me know! DBF and I are trying to decide between MNSSHP and this...since they both fall on a Friday. TIA!

The Chip and Dale campfire is everynight at FW. It starts off with a sing-a-long then chip and dale make a quick apperence. There are 2 fire pits where you can make smores and then you can watch a disney movie under the stars. It is held right by Meadow trading post.

ohhhh as great at the campfire is~ it doesn't compare to MNSSHP! You're talking 2 different events here.

If I had to make a choice between the 2 ... clearly MNSSHP would win. But if you have an evening off and need something to do... then yes, the campfire is a fun time. :thumbsup2 and you could throw in a hayride while at Ft. Wilderness.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the campfire program happened every night, usually about 7pm.

It does happen everynight~ weather permitting. The times change on the seasons.

What is MNSSHP?? Also my dd's are 15 (twins) and love Chip n' Dale - but are they too old for the campfire/movie - is this just for little kids?

Thanks Brenda

MNSSHP is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween a special ticket event held in October. Kids(of all ages) can dress up and tick or treat throughout the MK. Most but not all rides are open and because ticket sales are limited it is not too crowded. As for the campfire show, the movies range from G to PG and classic Disney to more recent releases like Narnia. The show happens daily weather permitting and I think I saw somewhere on the boards a copy of the movie schedual.

Well, let's just say, I'm 38 and had more fun then my 3 kids a few weeks back at the campfire movie! Toy Story was playing~ it was awesome. ;)

We are staying at the Value resorts are we able to come to movie night?? Or is it just for guests staying at FW?? Thank you for your help. :)

Does anyone know the time that Campfire would run in Oct? We're going to be hitting the Backyard BBQ & I'd like to swing over to the Campfire while at Wilderness just to see what it's like for future trips. :fish:

Absolutely! We stayed at POP Century when we went down in January, caught the bus at MGM to FW and thoroughly enjoyed the campfire program. When we were ready to leave, we took the boat to MK and caught a bus back to our hotel from there. Best part was, it's free! Bonus is that getting there (and back) is half the fun!
