Hello all,
I am about to embark on my first trip to Orlando since 1994. I usually fly Southwest and was going to for this trip also until the doctor I work for surprised me by booking me a flight on American Airlines first class using his flyer miles.
I looked on the website and it said there were exceptions to the baggage charge and one of them was full fare payers and first class. Do I count as a "real first class" passenger even though they aren't technically my miles? Would I still be charged for a checked bag? I tried calling to get info but I could never get a human on the line. Thanks in advance for any info!
