Question about Characters at Cape May Cafe

Hello. I had just a quick question about what characters make an appearance at Cape May Cafe's breakfast. My family is use to going to Chef Mickey's and love the character interaction there, but are considering a completely different trip (different dining experiences and resort) and wonder if we would be disappointed with Cape May and the characters there. Does Mickey ever make an appearance there or is it just a few of the other characters (possibly Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale etc.)?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. By far the best character interaction we've ever had. For us at least, it was a MUCH better experience than Chef Mickey's.

Hearing good things about something we've never done or experienced is always a good! But I guess also hearing not-so-good things too is beneficial as well.

I had hoped to find out Mickey would be there too, but that's not looking to be the case. Even though it was a good experience for you, did it seem to lack not having Mickey there? Why I ask is, it just seems like Mickey "should" be there afterall you're at Disney, if you know what I mean? Like, would I be disappointed if we went there and NOT saw Mickey??

I was there in December w/family that included 3 1/2 year old neice. We just LOVED the characters and food there! I would definitely give it a try. No...we didn't miss Mickey at all...she LOVED Minnie as well as Goofy and Chip and Dale. They were very visable the entire time we were there and were having a lot of fun posing and signing books...VERY well done, IMO. Have fun deciding!

It is a great experience with the characters. We've done this breakfast 3 - 4 times and it never seems to be too crowded, so the characters spend a lot of time with you. Even better, the food is from a buffet, rather than a pre-plated meal as is the case at several of the other character breakfasts, so you can pick and choose what you want. As a result, you actually get a good breakfast (unlike some of the others, where the food seems to take a distant second to the characters).

We love the character breakfast at Cape May. Mickey is our favorite character and we're ok without him being there because the character interaction at Cape May is the best we've seen.

Thank You ALL, for such great replies about CMC! I am feeling much more positive about it now. I think I may look further into the possibility at going there for a priority seating now after getting all the positive feedback about it.

Like I said before we usually stay at CR, go to Chef Mickey's and the last 2 years went to CRT to see the princesses and to have breakfast. We are highly considering a completely different trip with possibly saying at BC, going to CMC and going to PSB breakfast at Epcot instead.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the character breakfast at Cape May many , many times!
The food is very good and the characters include Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Pluto. Even though we have never seen Mickey there, you are having such a good time no one notices!
