Question about Character Meals

We are going in December and I am unclear about something with the meal plan. How many Table service tickets do you need for the Character meals? I was under the impression you needed two but after reading something on the Disney site I am THINK it may be only 1. Can anyone clarify?

The character meals are 1 table service credit.

WOW!!! Ok so when I go to the list of restaurants anything that needs two tickets will have a 2, anything under the mouse ears is one table service ticket?

Thanks so much! I thought when there were ears it was also 2 tickets but I am glad that I am wrong. Opens up a whole bunch more possibilities!
