Question about buying Annual Passes online...

Hi, I'm going to buy my neice and I annual passes this week for DLR. First, do the passes expire 1-year from the day I buy them, or 1-year from our first visit?

Also, if I add the Parking to my pass, will it work on our first visit, or will it take effect after the pass is processes?

From the first visit.

You will pay for parking the first time, then you take the receipt to the AP center and they will refund it, after your passes have been activated.

ohhh....thats great...I could buy an AP now for our trip in DEcember...then they would be good until december 2009.....Would I be able to get an AP rate at any of the disney hotels? Since it wouldn't be activated yet?

You can get the AP rate when you reserve the hotel, you just show them your AP when you check in. If you haven't gotten your permanent pass before you check in, you should be able to show them the printout.
