Question about Buffalo Bills Wild West Show

We are looking at going to this whilst we are at DLRP in December (as I would really like to go and DS loves animals). As we are having half board premium, this show is covered with the vouchers.

I have just seen a couple of pictures of this show on another website (but no reviews) and we have a show here in Australia called the "Australian Outback Spectacular", which we have been to a couple of times (and loved). The couple of photos that I just saw, it looks very similar, well almost the same, at Australian Outback Spectacular, you get the hats (that look exactly the same), sit in exactly the same style of long bench seating/table set up facing the show, the show has horses, cattle etc, but is possibly more of an Australian Flavour. Anyway just wondering if this show is worth doing?

I have looked on the restaurant sticky and there is not much on it, not many reviews. I have read in one of my trusty DLRP guide books (that also does not have much on it) that it should be avoided by people with Asthma. Has anyone done this with Asthma, the one here does kick up a bit of dust, but no enough to cause an asthma attack.

Would just love to hear if anyone has been to this, has any photos, thinks that it is worth a night out, was the food good? Is there really enough dust kicked up by the animals to give an asthma attack, has anyone been with or with someone with asthma? Is it reserved seating, like are we assigned a seat number when booking or is it first come first served? If it's first come first served, does it tend to fill up from the front or the back? Maybe sitting further towards the back would be better for an asthmatic.

Hi! This show is fantastic, well worth it. My fiancee has asthma and was fine with the show, I don't remember much dust. The food is okay and we enjoyed it! I am thinking of booking this for the 15th December, I really want to see it again!.

We have done it a couple of times and enjoyed it more the first time but I think thats coz we knew what was coming the 2nd time.

There is a review of it in my Easter trippie I think.

DS has asthma but we just asked not to be seated right at the front and he was fine

We've been a couple of times too, have sat at the very front and very back row and DS who was Asthmatic, he seems to have outgrown it now, never had a problem.
The show is fabulous, the food is OK, except the corn bread - that's really scrummy.
There are some very good videos of the show on Youtube, can post a link if you like.

You are given your seat allocation on the way into the show, not sure how it's allocated though. I would assume they give all of 1 colour out at a time e.g the first 100 people red, the next 100 yellow etc. etc.
BTW The back row is also very good if you have little ones needing frequent toilet visits, you can get in and out without disturbing anyone else.

We enjoyed it it's good fun and although the food isn't anything to write home about it was hot and edible and much better than I'd been expecting after some of the reviews I'd read!

We didn't arrive until quite near the start time of the show and were given seats very near the back (they must fill up at the front first) and found we still had a great view from there. I'm sure if you asked for seats at the back you would be given them.

As people have said before the main event is the show, the food is ok but nothing special.

Kids seemed to enjoy the kids food anyways, even our 11month old loved it, she kept banging the tables when everyone else was, plus banging the spoon on the tablelol

we went last year and my then 8 yr old, he has asthma and easily sets off with normal household dust and cats etc... and starts wheezing...

We were sat, at the front and nothing affected him at all

I didnt care too much for the food, didnt like the sausage, but other half and kids ate all theirs and mine LOL!!!... each to their own I suppose, but really you are paying for the show

Thanks everyone, I think we might see this. We have two possible nights in our schedule that we could do it. I thought I have read that it's not on every night during winter (december) but I may have just dreamt that

Anyway I think I will chance it with the asthma. Maybe they just have to put that warning there. I will just request a seat near the back .
