Question about Budget's Fastbreak program

I usually use Alamo but I have been unable to find a good rate for our trip next week but got a good rate through Budget. I joined the Fastbreak program and got my card in the mail. I have a minivan reserved for 7/7-7/13. From what I read Budget allows you to have a spouse as an additional driver at no extra cost correct?

Do I just go out to the lot and there will be a Fastbreak window there? Can they add my husband as the additional driver at the FB window or do I need to do all that at the counter inside the airport? I also use the kiosks with Alamo and never stand in line so I would like to avoid that if possible!

With Budget do you get to go out to the lot and choose your car like you do with Alamo?

We'll be renting a car in a few weeks from budget and are wondering what your experience was when using Budgets Fastbreak service. Were you able to add an additional driver at the counter? Or did you have to go through the regular service line?

When you get to the Budget area of the rental cars counters you will see a sign that will direct Fast Break members to head across the street to the parking garge. Budget is located on the 2nd floor of the parking garage. Everything is clearly marked.

I cannot tell you about the additional driver, but I would imagine that you can do it all outside at the garage. Just tell them when you get there. I would also imagine that he has to be there to show his drivers license.
