I, my husband, and (minor) kids have gold status. My parents, and brother/sil and their kids all have Silver. I need to book three rooms, can I do them all tomorrow? I want to put myself in one room and husband in another to give the most benefits and use our obb credit. (We'll be platinum by the time of the cruise). Or do I need to wait to book the third room with only Silver cruisers on Thursday?

I believe at least one Gold CC member must be listed in each stateroom booked tomorrow. You can either put one of your children into the 3rd room, or wait until Thursday to book it.

Enjoy your cruise!

Oh, cool, I wasn't sure if they would allow the kids status to be used for booking, since they are minors. I will definitely do this then.

Doesn't matter the age of the person. The highest level booked in a stateroom determines the level for that room. See below from the DCL Castaway Club FAQs. NOTE: if you book one of you kids in someone else's stateroom, they will have to attend the muster drill based on that stateroom (as well as using that station in the event of a real emergency). I see that your are minors, so I understand that one of the adults in the other stateroom will need to sign an authorization form to allow you to take your kids off the ship.

Question
What happens if I travel with Guests who are at a different Castaway Club membership level, but we are in the same stateroom?

Answer
Silver, Gold or Platinum benefits are determined by the highest membership level Guest in a stateroom. Only one Guest in a stateroom party needs to be a Castaway Club Member for the entire stateroom party to be eligible for the associated benefits. However, benefits do not extend beyond the immediate stateroom party, so benefits associated with Guests traveling in other staterooms will be determined by the highest membership level Guest in each stateroom.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but once they're booked then all but the primary - and minors can't be a primary - can be moved from room to room at a later date (although some have said that there really isn't a primary anymore, but I'm not really sure about that), and if you wait until after the excursion/cabana/blah blah booking date for Gold members you can also take advantage of being able to book all three rooms' excursions, etc. at the Gold date, then move the kids around after the Silver date has passed. The only thing that will be a negative, as far as I know, is that the Silver room will get Silver stuff.

Then again, I could be wrong, and I'm sure somebody will tell me if they think I am.
