2026 MMB info Announced

Update: I was mistaken and I actually purchased them in May (not April). Also, I found where to see them and WHEN they are valid.

If you click Manage Vacation Points on your Dashboard, then scroll down, you will see the contract and when it's eligible and how many points are left. We already used them in December.

These were purchased under my resale contract, before I had a direct contract. Does that mean I can't buy OTUP for the direct contract until it's a stay for December 1, 2026 or later?
Yup that is where I said to look earlier :)

If it is under the same membership number (Most likely the case here assuming that both deeds are in the December use year and titled the exact same) then yes you are not able to purchase points again until 5/1/2026 for a stay of 12/1/2026.

If you purchased MMB for 2026 to get the OTUP at BOGO you can call MS on 5/1/2026 and have them book you a standard/resort view 1 bedroom at SSR for 26 points (12 paid OTUP, 12 Free OTUP and 2 of your points) and then afterwards go into your dashboard and cancel the reservation.

The 2 points will be returned to whichever contract you used and then you will have 2 new contracts of 12 points to select for booking at the 7 month window from 12/1/26 until 11/30/2027.

You buy OTU points in your membership. It has nothing to do with specific contracts.

If your new direct contract will be in the same membership as the resale contract, then your next set of OTU points can be purchased for trips within your Dec 2026 UY as you already bought them for your Dec 2025 UY.

Apologies if this has been asked before - has anyone done the math comparing the 3-day weekday MMB DL ticket vs the $50 p/d summer special that’s being offered for kids? I know that the MMB includes LLM, but still potentially quite a difference.

If not, I’ll call this week and share what I find.

You don’t buy MMB on a membership.

You buy it as a person. So, both can purchase it and it’s attached to each of you.

And, each of you is entitled to the BOGO free points. You just have to each purchase them for a different membership.

Where it seems there may be inconsistency is that when some went to buy them for a membership they own that isn’t eligible for benefits, CMS said they could not.

I would not even mention resale if I was doing it.

Just buy MMB for each person and then have each person call and ask to buy them for a different membership.

If denied, then I’d escalate to a supervisor. I think when people mention “resale” on the phone, many CMs hear it and just say one can’t.
Having 2 member IDs (1ID with Mixed Direct/Resale and 1 ID with Only Resale contracts) I was told and unable to receive BOGO points for my wife later in the year after I received mine, and had to pay for all 24. Are IDs with Resale truly eligible or have people just gotten lucky getting an unknowledgeable Cast Member on the phone?

Every phone call to Member Services and getting a knowledgable cast member is Pot Luck for as something as simple as buying PhotoPass for Annual Pass.

(Saying thank you, but no thanks, then hang up, and call back again is a real thing my house 🤪)

I just compared yesterday with adding LLM and the kids summer ticket special was $252 per ticket for any 3 days, not just weekends. That's quite a big difference and what we'll be doing for our youngest 2 for our upcoming June trip since they still qualify.
Now I'm just trying to convince my husband with the savings we should also buy us all a single day ticket (still using the $50/pd for the 2 kids) so we can go on Sunday too......Disney math 😄

Not gonna lie - I had the SAME thought!! 🤣

Did your wife have MMB as well? That is required and she has to be the one to call, not you.

We now have reports that people are allowed to buy on any membership they own as long as each person bought MMB
