Question about booking resorts with points?

Hi...we are in the process of buying BCV thorught TSS.....just found out today disney waved it...so every thing is a go....

now my question...how long will it take till I can book? Our contract has 83 points to use before feb. or lose them...my question is...we are planning a 3 day trip sunday to wed. before thanksgiving and would really like to use those points....from what i am reading...everything will be booked...if all the DVC resorts are all booked....what would my chances be using them at like say FRQT......if FRQT is available...could we use them there...I am new to this...not quite sure how things work....

Resale contracts are usually in the DVC computer about a week after closing. Your broker can advise of the closing date.

If you are unable to get a reservation at a DVC resort, your points may still be used at other WDW resorts if available. I'd see about a DVC resort and even use the waitlist if possible. MS can probably advise of the probability of success.
