Question about Beaches and Cream

Our trip is planned for mid october and I MUST go to Beaches and Cream to get the Peanut Butter and Choc sundae (can't remember the name right now...). I saw it on the menu and I MUST have it. So I am wondering, when is the best time to go to B&C if you just want ice cream and don't want to wait in line? Is this even possible?

Well, we've only eaten there once. It was last summer. We got there when they opened (it was around lunchtime) & we were able to be seated right away. A half-hour after opening, and there was already a 30 minute wait.

The No Way Jose is what you're speaking of.... my favorite too!

We try to hit mid afternoon (3:30) between lunch and dinner or just when they open for lunch around 11/11:30. Going for lunchtime or dinner you'll definitely get quite a wait... and absolutely forget about going after leaving the parks for the night esp. after Illuminations! MOB scene!

Okay, that was really cruel!!! I have to wait until October to sink my taste buds into that thing, and now that I have a visual of it, Im totally dieing to have one. That thing looks amazing!!! I just want to lick the peanut butter off the side of the glass. Ugghhh....sigh.....grrrr....I don't think I can wait. I might have to go for more than one night.....

OMG, that thing is AMAZING! There is usually wait. They don't take ADRs there. It's well worth the wait, believe me. The burgers are to die for and
I must have one every time we go. Now I think I must have the PB sundae
as well......groan......................

Try hitting it on opening ...this place is good! But WAY TOO SMALL and WAY TOO CROWDED. LAst time I was there( Dec 07) the wait was over an hour and this was in the afternoon

As previously posted, we've had luck arriving at opening (11:30?) We got a booth without a wait. If all you want is a sundae, you could do take out. They have a separate take out area. Oh, and BTW, the No Way Jose is awesome!

We were there about 2 weeks ago for lunch, around 12, the entire bar was empty and a few tables. We were staying at the YC so we walked by it at night alot and there was a long waiting line of people

If you don't mind sitting at the counter, you can sometimes have a much shorter wait. This is especially true for smaller parties, say one to three people. Sometimes I've gotten in with no wait at all for the counter, when people were waiting 30 minutes or more for a table.

We usually sit at the counter, and dont usually end up waiting long at all. Keep in mind that there is an "ice cream to-go" line as well, that may save you some time and you could eat at one of the tables outside. Problem is I dont think they offer the No Way Jose on that menu, altough I have seen guests who have begged and pleaded nicely get it

I heard they're expanding the seating there so hopefully that will be completed before October. It's on my list as well... but for the burger. Not sure how I'd fit a sundae in after a burger and fries. Oh well... the problems we have on vacation

Does the No Way Jose have any chocolate ice cream in it? It looks like peanut butter flavor to me (in the pic) but DH insists it must be chocolate.

Our plane lands at 5:30pm and I was hoping that after we check in to the Beach Club we could head to B&C for dinner (7:30ish). Will it be packed or do you think maybe the initial rush will have subsided some??? Or should I just be prepared for a wait? We're a party of 4. Thanks.
