I was wondering if there are any tours that are available at Hilton Head, somewhat similar to what you can do in Hawaii? Specifically, do they have snorkeling boats or parasailing? Also, is there any whale migration out that way (That might be a stupid question, I have no idea where the whales go to or come from?) If so, what time of year are these available? What about dolphins, other boat cruises etc?

I don't know anything about whales in the area of HH. The resort itself is on a small island off the creek (a big creek) but I suspect it's much to shallow for whales. Have heard there are manatees spotted along the marina.

We did a great beach combing/dolphin tour with Scott from Lowcountry Nature Tours. They work right out of Shelter Cove. The phone number is 843-683-0187. I also have a phone number for Time on the Water who can help with water skiing and banana boat rides.

There is the Skooner Welcome also out of Shelter Cove. DH has wanted to go on their tour both times we've been there but have yet to do it.

Disney also offers some tours which can be arranged through the resort.
