This AP stuff is all new to me. :confused3

I have ordered my AP using the DVC discount. I needed the AP to get a okay room rate at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We are staying at AK 2 nights before the rest of the family arrives for our stay at OKW.

I know that I need to activate my AP before I go to the hotel to check in so I can get the discount. The closest place I can think of to do the activation is AK park.

Now, do I go to AKL and try to check in, if I can't then go to AK and activate my pass and come back and check in?

Or, do I drive to AK, activate my pass and then check in. (this sounds like the best, but do I pay for parking at AK so I can activate my pass? ~ That doesn't sound right)

Thanks everyone!

Shari

You should be able to check in with just your voucher. At worst I think they will ask you to come back and show the activated AP the next day.

If you have to pay to park just go to guest relations with your receipt and they will give you your money back with your activated AP.

When we checked-in this March, they gave us the AP rate before we even purchased our passes. They just asked once we purchased them (that day), that we bring them back to the front desk for verification.

Everyone provided GREAT information!!!!:cool1:

I really appreciate your help. :wizard: I feel alot more comfortable about checking in now!

Can't wait!!!!!

We have never been asked to show our APs at check in. :wizard:
