Question about annual Pass- never activated

Please don't flag- I just need some information. I bought an annual pass and have never activated it. We have since started to use all inclusive packages, so nowe I have no use for the annual pass (don't need the discounts that come with it). Can this be sold, and the exchange certificate presented by the buyer at the kiosk at Disney? Didn't know where else to ask this question and please don't flame me- I am not trying to sell a used ticket or transfer and activated one- this is the original exchange ticket. I would just like to get my $536 dollars back . Thanks in advance

An unused ticket may be transferred or sold without restriction. An AP voucher is an unused ticket. Note that it may always be exchanged for an AP as it does not expire.

I thought AP vouchers expired 12 months after purchase?

NO a voucher is good until activated an activated AP ( can use to get in gate) expires in 12 mos yes.

You may very well have. Poster could have been misinformed, used wrong wording or been misinformed themselves.

No. A voucher for a new AP never expires.

However, if you have a voucher for the renewal of an AP and you attempt to do the renewal more than a year from its expiration date, you will have to purchase a new AP (not renewal price) and the voucher will only be worth what you paid for it.

Thank you! I had considered buying an AP voucher before the prices go up again next year but we won't be going back until December 2014 and I didn't want to waste that much money!
