Question about AKL

We were upgraded to the AKL from the POFQ fiasco- staying 5/2-5/9.

We've always dreamed of staying here, but could never afford it, so our family of 12 is very excited.

My dad thinks that it's a short jaunt to the Animal Kingdom Park. From what I've seen, it's not.

Can anyone verify please? We will be pushing strollers around too.


Any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot walk to the AK park, but it is short drive or bus ride.

Welcome to the DIS We were upgraded from POFQ to AKL in 2001 when WDW was so slow because of 9/11. We always loved POFQ, but now AKL is our favorite resort. We have stayed there twice since then. AKL is a very short bus ride from AK, but as stated before you can not walk. I am sure you will enjoy your stay at AKL, it is a beautiful resort. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
