Question about add on points?

I understand the smallest number of points you can buy from Disney is 150. I also understand you can get on a wait list to buy additional points at the sold out resorts. But my question is, say you own 75 points at OKW, can you buy more points from Disney for OKW? Or do you need to own at least a 150, before Disney will let you add on directly from them?
THANKS!

I believe the minimum add on for cash payment is 25 points, and for Disney financing 50 pts. You can add on through Disney by getting on a waitlist, or if there are points available at the resort, immediately. I believe OKW has points available frequently, so you may be in luck.

I just re-read your post and I'm not sure about the amount of points you need to own. Hopefully someone else knows. Good luck!

We own a whole 30 at SSR.... and are considering adding 100. We have talked to our Guide and, as members, they will sell us as few as 25 points.

If you buy a small resale contract and get "in the system", you become members. Then you have the same rights as any other member, even though you did not start out with the 150 point minimum purchase.

On a side note, it looks like we will soon own 130.... which was not my initial intention.... Maybe we shoulda bought 150 to start with! We were really looking to end up with 75 to 90 points total, but with the discounts on the 100 right now - we are probably going to get another 100.
