Question about accomodations

We booked a one bedroom during the kids break next April at BLT. We are a family of 5, so a 1 bedroom will accomodate us just fine. Now my sister is showing interest in going with us. We'd hate to use the extra 110 points to get a two bedroom to accomodate only one more person. Our question is, does anyone know if they will allow you to have a cot to accomodate that 6th person?

They will only allow 5 plus one child under the age of three in the 1-bedrooms at BLT.

Maybe she could get herself a room in the tower or a studio near you and pay cash so you don't have to use your points. If she's adding herself to your trip which is already planned, it's up to her to find a place to hang her hat!

Depending on ages of your children, you may already be tight as the chair sleeper is not the biggest for that already 5th person.

DVC will not provide a cot or rollaway, and will not book 6 people into a one bedroom unit, unless one of them is UNDER the age of 3. Once they hit 3 years old, they are considered a full resort guest as far as occupancy.
