Hi all,

I've been watching a clip that they've been showing over here in the UK advertising Universal Orlando. During the clip they show part of a ride (well I'm assuming it's a ride) were there are live actors dressed as horror/halloween characters who hide and then jump out etc...I really don't think I can do this, so I'm wondering what this is so I can avoid it? :rotfl2:

Thanks!

What did this character look like? A mummy perchance?
Chances are the commercial they are showing has a mummy jumping out with a girl cringing in a roller coaster car? If thats the case, its a dramatization. A mummy jumps out at you, but its animatronic and about 5 feet away from you....not scary at all.
If thats not it, its most likely a Halloween Horror Nights commercial, and you can avoid that by not going to the event. Either way you're safe.

The advert showed 'live people', it wasn't animatronic.

It seemed to be in some sort of house in were people were walking through and people jumped out and chased them around :scared1:

I imagine from what you tell me that it may be one of the Halloween night specials...

Good :) The thought of that happening to me really freaks me out!

I'd end up sat in a corner somewhere crying!! :sad1:

Universal Hollywood has a walk through like this. Just don't go on it. When I was there, it was based on the Mummy. Then, I think, Van Helsing. No idea what it is now.

I haven't seen the commercial but it sounds like Halloween Horror Nights and it does feature scaractors running around. It's a lot of fun but it's a hard ticket event so you don't have to go if you don't want to. So no worries! :)

Thank-you all for putting my mind at rest!

I couldn't have coped wandering into a ride to be faced with that happening to me, it's just not my thing! :scared:

I'm such a chicken!!
