Hi!!
My daughter and I are taking a trip to New Hampshire next week. I lived there as a child and always wanted to visit again, we live in Texas. We are visitng a couple of friends, going to the mountains, visitng Salem and Boston. Anyway, I am thinking about a day trip to New York....it's about 250 miles one way from our hotel, so I was thinking we could leave about 5am, arrive there no later than 10am...see the Statue of Liberty and Time Square, and head back early that evening.
What do you think? I've never been to New York, and this is probably once in a lifetime thing for us to go together, just her and I. Is it possible to do those few things in one day? I know it'll be alot of driving for one day, but worse case scenario, we're going to pack for an overnight stay, just in case it gets too late and I'm tired, we can stop at a hotel on the way back.
Thanks for the input!!
