Question about 4:05 dinner at BOG

We were able to snag a 4:05 reservation at BOG. Yay!
I know the restaurant opens at 4:00. What time do they have someone at the podium so we can check in? I have a stupid fear that we won't be able to check in on time because of a big crowd descending upon the restaurant and we'll miss our reservation time.
I'm a weirdo.
Please alleviate my fears!

On our last trip in October, we too had a 4:05pm ADR time. People did start to line up early, but the CMs won't start checking you in until at least 15 minutes before hand, which is when we got to the line. I would say if you are worried, to just head over to that area about 20 minutes before your ADR time (30 if you really wanted to) and just wait until they are starting to check people in, there is a wall that some members of your party could sit at while someone stands in line, but at least you will be one of the first ones there. Have a great time, we loved our dinner there and have another ADR for our upcoming May trip .

That is my favorite time for a dinner ADR. We got the best service early in the day. Have a great time!

PoohsFan1 - We will be sure to arrive about 20 minutes prior just to be on the safe side.
I'm really excited! We haven't been to WDW since May 2012 so this will be our first time eating at BOG

I like an early dinner too, Sookie! I figure everyone will be in a good mood when they first open! Plus they will have plenty of cupcakes!!! I wouldn't want them to run out!

We had a 4:30 ADR and checked in about 5 minutes prior to our ADR which is what most restaurants seemed to prefer this past trip. They let us right in through the initial gate and gave us a buzzer. Once that buzzer went off, we were escorted through the next gate where we waited for our greeter to meet us and walk us into the restaurant. It didn't seem that crazy around the podium. They actually had someone stationed upfront telling people there was no availability and then the check in podium is actually set slightly back and to the left.
