We are here now at the grand and it’s our first stay without EE. Huge difference. I don’t know what I was expecting exactly. I knew it would be more difficult but I underestimated by how much. We are really feeling that loss. We have had fun and did quite a bit yesterday but today has been difficult. We rope dropped and lines were already insane. The one LL per person per stay is not even remotely close to the 30 min EE before (not to mention the lovely days of an hour!! 😍😍). LL has run out so quickly and times that are available are late. Yes, you can refresh and sometimes get better options but I hate that I am constantly on my phone all the time now on these vacations. We also did not realize that certain rides are not available for use if you get a multi experience pass. Big thunder broke and we got one but the list of exemptions made it sad. No Space mtn, Guardians etc. I don’t remember this in the past. Why if you purchase LL can you not use them for everything except Rise and RSR? I get in Florida where there are tiers but we don’t have tiers. In all we are having fun but definitely it’s changed a lot more than I expected in a year and the value has really decreased. We have gone once a year for the past two decades and I feel these changes more then any before.

the tier thing got us in december!!! i was watching kids when we had a multiple experience from incredicoaster so i told the fam go ahead and use for guardians and they called me and said they werent able to and i said yes you are thats not the rule, but after i looked on the app under the tier i saw it is the rule…

as far as no ee, we have found not much of a difference our last 2 visits but maybe its hard right now with the spring break crowds, but our january and march trip we got in both times around 750 and felt lines getting in were short and we did so much 8-11 and went back after dinner to do more as well from stacking LLs

I am happy to hear it wasn’t so bad when it is less busy, and that could be our issue. We are here over school break for our daughter and I know that makes it worse. The tier thing blew my mind. I had no idea! I wonder when that started?

It has at least been this was since the beginning of Genie+/LL. I can’t remember if it was around duing MaxPass.

Interesting. This was our first time experiencing it.

I should know this, but what exactly is the tier thing?
When a ride breaks down and you have LL for it, it changes into a Multi Experience pass. It used to be that you could then ride any other LL ride with the exception of the ILL rides. But now there is a list of rides that you cannot use it on in each park. So for example, your LL for BTM turns into a MEP you can use it for HM but not for SM or Indy. The list now has like 4 rides or so in each park that you cannot use it for. That wasn’t the case in the past. We didn’t know that until we went to use it on Guardians and then saw the restriction list at the bottom.

FWIW, it’s been this way for quite a while.

Thanks! That's good to know.
