Question about 2nd adult in room

OK, my mom, DS and myself are planning on 5 nights at CBR in Feb. With the free kids deal through Visa/DIsney it is my understanding that we would get 3 UPH's with the package? These are only good from check in until check out time correct?? My mom has some health problems that may prevent her from going to the parks with us every day (depends on how she's feeling) I read a tip on Mousesavers that said it's ok to just make the reservation for 1 adult/1 child and then tell them you have a second adult when you check in. Is this "ok'? My mom can get a 4 day park hopper in this case and if she doesn't feel up to the parks we can use the leftover days on our next trip, but I want to make sure this is alright first. I looked at the Disney site and it doesn't say anything about an extra charge for a 2nd adult in the room. This would save us about $150 if it works out ok. Can anyone let me know if this is possible???

Hi,
Im not sure and someone here will probably know.
I think you should be able to do that.
I think its one child per adult.You have one child, the adult is you, so your mother shouldnt come into it.
So I think you should be able to do your pkg. and then add you mom to the room not the pkg. when you get there.

This should be okay, as long as you tell them at check in that you have an extra person. We could have this same situation in Dec. if our DD comes with us. We won't know for sure until two or three days before we leave. We will tell them at checkin if this happens.

A few years ago DH and I did this. We had purchased a package for just the two of us. After we bought the package a friend decided she wanted to join us but didn't need the package because she already had a hopper pass.
When we were checking into the WL I let them know another adult had decided to join us at the last minute. The guy at check in told us it was no problem - in fact we were never charged the exta adult fee.

So hopefully it will work out for you.

Last year, I was joining DB, DSIL and DN at POR. I called to see if there was an extra charge for me, and the great CM told me "Enjoy your stay!"

I am buying a package with the passes included for length of stay. Will they be good on the last day>? we will be checking out at 11am but plane isnt until 8pm. So thats what I am wondering...if we can still use it that last day for a few more hours or should we jsut buy an extra day?

Yes you can use it on the last day. At least to my understanding you can.
