I know that all the resorts only allow a certain amount of people per room but do they count a 2 year old in the number? Wondering about AK Villas for 4 adults and one 2 year old.The youngest we have taken was 3 years old and that was several years ago and we had more than one room,so I am not sure about this.Any help would be great. Thanks

Children under 3 are not counted towards occupancy.

I have four children. After my 3rd, when we became a party of 5, we had no issues booking rooms with a 4 person occupancy. As a family of 6 with a 1 year old, we have no issues booking in a room that is 5 person occupancy. This is true for DVC or the regular hotel rooms.

Any reservations agent would absolutely confirm that.

We actually did a trip over the summer and the baby was "1" over the occupancy limit for a 2 bedroom, but was "legal" because she was under age 3.

Correction - one child under the age of three doesn't count towards room occupancy. If you have one year old triplets, two will count, one will not.
