Question about 2 DDE cards

Hi guys, help me out here.

I understand you get two DDE cards (for spouses). Unfortunately has never gone to WDW and never will. However, my son and I do at least twice a year. Can I list him as my spouse?

His girlfriend is going with us this trip and I will probably have to be solo for most meals. Don't really mind at all.

I put my DD's name on my second card. As far as I know, 2nd card member has to over 21 and a family member.

DS and GF are 19. I gues that won't work. Didn't think about the alcohol.

I used my mom for my second card and they did ask for her DOB.

They are now enforcing that the second card be in the name of the spouse. My friend called last week and tried to put her sister down as the second adult and was told no, the rules have changed and the second card must be in the name of the spouse, no spouse, no second card. I have also seen other threads with this same information. You could list your son as your spouse, but that would mean you would have to lie.

When I ordered my card last month, I was asked if I wanted a second card and I said "well my daughter always comes with me & she has an AP so I guess I can get one in her name " (had not read any posts about age limits at that point). She asked me our birthdates and said they would be mailed to me. Well I got my cards this week and DD's name is on one of the cards...she's only 17. A second card is not really necessary for us because we do everything together but it's interesting that they sent it to me knowing she was 17...seems like there is a lot of confusion about policies at DDE.
