You would like to think so, but look at the fact that people are still interviewing people about the “last words” his mother spoke, 25 years later. That type of thing sells, unfortunately. I can understand why the family might be uneasy. I am not saying they are as low as the paparazzi, but they have shown themselves to be less than trustworthy when speaking about the BRF. Even if any of what they allege is true, it’s never a good thing to air your family’s dirty linen in public. Considering their track record with the truth, I don’t know that I would believe their version of her last moments. We have heard nothing from Charles or Anne regarding that time, and that is how it should be.Surely even Meghan and Harry couldn't stoop that low ...
I would have had a lot more respect for H&M if they had simply said they had some disagreements regarding the lifestyle of a working royal and decided to step back to become non-working royals/private citizens. Period. We don’t need to know who isn’t speaking to who, or why. We don’t need to know the intimate details of very personal moments within the family. The only thing any of them are obligated to share are details that pertain to their work as royals, and H&M aren’t a part of that anymore. I would be more interested in how their foundation helps people than in reading any memoir they plan to write.
An interesting fixation IMO.
