Queen and Jasmine ... a Magical Birthday Trip

Just popped in to say hi- I was away at the beach all week and needed to get caught up. I thought of you today when I went to Target. As usual, I left with a receipt near $100...it was a little below though, maybe I should head back. :lmao:

I did get a great "school" bag for $12.99...I love being a teacher; back to school supplies and clothes are so exciting! It might be my "purse" for our winter flight to Disney. If you need a new bag, or if Jasmine needs one...

It also comes in tan and a more practical print.

Don't get discouraged about the no change on the scale. How do your clothes feel? Keep it up! :goodvibes

Happy 5 weeks to go! :dancer:

Thanks:cool1:....and is it 5 weeks for you today? I think it is:thumbsup2

Hi Debby!:yay:

The beach all week, lucky you:cloud9: I love the beach and you know in every trip to Florida we've never gone:scared1:

Let me just have a moment as I think of you in Target :cloud9: I almost thought about a day trip tomorrow because Jasmine has the day off, but forgot it's Aladdin's sister's birthday and they are all going horseback riding:rolleyes1

LOVE THE BAG.....can I order from Target online? I should know that shouldn't I:confused:

Thanks for the morale boost....I actually felt really good today so I tried on a new pair of jean capri's and guess what THEY FIT and they're a 14:banana::woohoo::worship::worship:I can't tell you how that helped motivate me for the rest of this week. All that exercise is paying off

Thanks for checking in and I'm glad you're back:hug:

Hey Queen! That's great news about your ME tags arriving! Will you have to call and get them changed since you added another day?

Hey girl!

The first envelope was for our arrival on the 18th, the second one was for our arrival on the 17th:cool1:...only problem is I didn't have the flight numbers when I called to book the room only, so I had to call today to give them that, so I think I might be received yet another envelope:laughing:

I'm not quite sure how I missed your PTR until now! We'll blame it on my extended July vacation. Anyway I'm here now and am going to get all caught up:goodvibes

Cannot believe we leave exactly one month today:woohoo: One of the ladies I used to work with at another branch sent me a message today asking me "what I would be doing this time next month"....ya gotta love when you're friends are Disney addicts too!!:cool1: I told her getting our room all set up, going to Downtown Disney and eating at Wolfgang Puck Express:worship: Just writing all that down makes me so excited!

Tomorrow is weigh in day again, so just got in from my "last chance workout"...I always thought it would get easier but just when it does, we add more:rolleyes1 My girlfriend keeps telling me that's the way it is.....guess I have to listen! Not sure if it will show on the scale, but I did try on some clothes that haven't fit for a long time and they fit now, so that's really the important thing....or at least that's what I keep telling myself.:rolleyes1

I got the suitcases out of the storage closet:thumbsup2 Just having them in the spare room tonight made me happy. I moved the basket of stuff I have bought for the trip into the spare room and I will start putting it in ziploc bags and packing it this weekend. It will be a hectic next couple of weeks at work as one of the other managers is on vacation, so I figure I'll get done what I can this weekend and if I get nothing done in the next 2 weeks it will be ok!:woohoo:

Jasmine doesn't work until 330pm tomorrow so she's going to run to Walmart for me and pick up sunscreen and a couple of other things I forgot, which I can't remember as I sit here....good thing it's on the list on the fridge:goodvibes Oh yeah, I remember....my epi pens....can't leave home without fresh new ones!!!!

Jasmine has this weekend off so I told her we will be deciding what clothes we are taking because she is getting more and more shifts and I have an unnatural need to be a little too organized a little too early....she humours me....makes fun of me....but humors me!I have also decided we are only taking 2 suitcases.....well that's my plan right now.....I guess I'll have to wait and see what Jasmine decides to take. She asked if I .... did you notice the I...would be doing laundry while we're there.....does she not know her own mother:confused:

Hope everyone is having a good week!!!

It always makes it real when the suitcases come out :thumbsup2. I hate to admit it, but I have't put mine away since we got home . I knew we were going back in September so why put them up? Right? :lmao:. I'm sure you are an expert at packing, but I learned if you roll your clothes up you can fit more in the suitcase. I found it on some packing list web site and it does work. Dallas has a smaller suitcase, and for our 9 night trip this May, I was able to get all of his clothes to fit. I have to wash at least one time on our longer trips anyway. We never seem to have enough unmentionables no matter how much I pack :scared1:. I guess I just don't factor in taking showers in the middle of the day and needing clean dry undies :lmao:.

I love it when the suitcases come out of storage. :goodvibes I told Joe just yesterday that I wish we still had a spare room (it's now his "manroom") so that I can get the suitcases out and start loading them up! :lmao:

Ditto on :yay: for the suitcases. And congratulations on being able to fit into old clothes. That is such a great feeling! Hope the scale is nice to you.

You know I'm with you on packing early :rotfl:

Congrats on the clothes fitting! :thumbsup2 How your clothes fit and how you feel are so much more important than what the scales says! I bet you'll notice a difference walking around the parks too!

Woo hoo on your clothes feeling better! :woohoo: Who cares what the numbers are, right? :rolleyes1 That's so fun to get the suitcases out and start packing!!! :yay:

:goodvibesI am so happy that you are doing so great with your weight loss!!:goodvibes Keep up all the hard work!!! Yay for the suitcases:banana:That is soooo exciting!! Hmmmmm maybe in a week or so I can convince Kyle about ours....LOL Have a great rest of the week!!

Hi there, saw you posted on my TR so thought I'd come on over and join in. Sounds like you have a great trip planned! Yay for a month!

I gained a bit of weight this summer and tried on my school clothes to make sure it wasn't too much! We don't own a scale. Well, I did use the Wi game to weigh myself when I was losing a little weight in the spring. The clothes still fit, and I don't want to see the weight -I am sure it is up...10 days in Disney and a week at the beach will certainly add a couple pounds if one isn't careful...which I wasn't!

Anyway, all of that rambling was to say--listen to the clothes!!! Yah for old ones fitting again! Also, hooray for the suitcases!!! It helps build the excitement, doesn't it?

I hate Target.com...shipping charges are outrageous and probably tenfold for you. You have a month (); you could fit in a trip to Target if you really wanted the bag. But since you love to shop, you probably don't need it. Besides, there are some cute bags at Disney right now!!!

It appears we have taken a page from Jasmine's book and are planning yet another trip!

It feels totally weird to have booked a second trip before the first even happens. Free Dining got us and we are now also going August next year. Maybe you guys could swing down....slushies on me!

I wouldn't have put them away either:lmao: I do roll my clothes..but I can't take the credit for figuring it out on my own, my friend Brenda taught me and it really does make so much more room!

I will be doing laundry too when we're there...by the pool...with a couple of cocktails!

I love it when the suitcases come out of storage. :goodvibes I told Joe just yesterday that I wish we still had a spare room (it's now his "manroom") so that I can get the suitcases out and start loading them up!

What if you threw a couple of scented candles in the man room for a couple of weeks, would he let you pack in there then:rotfl2: I'm thinking probably not though:rolleyes1

Ditto on :yay: for the suitcases. And congratulations on being able to fit into old clothes. That is such a great feeling! Hope the scale is nice to you.

One of the best feelings ever....thanks so much!!

You know I'm with you on packing early :rotfl:

You were the first person I thought of as I hauled them out!

You are so right about the clothes over the scale....some weeks I just dread facing it! I think you're right about the parks, I walk minimum of 6km a day, so hopefullly will feel great!

Woo hoo on your clothes feeling better! :woohoo: Who cares what the numbers are, right? :rolleyes1 That's so fun to get the suitcases out and start packing!!! :yay:

Thanks Denise! I would love to say I don't care about the number, but I do, I hate that I do, but I do:lmao:

Thanks Tiff, it's tough, but so worth it. I don't think I'm down to what I was last summer when we went but should be by the time we leave!

Kyle was so excited about the trip the night I called I can't imagine him saying no...lol Tell Abby we can't wait to see her swimming at the pool!

Thanks for coming over, so happy you're here!

I gained 7 pounds last summer when we went...I couldn't believe how easy and fast it went on...hopefully I will keep it under 5 this year....the desserts kill me though, I have such a sweet tooth!

I am so happy with the clothes, that's what actually motivated me this week. My girlfriend is leaving tomorrow for a week in Minneapolis shopping with her family and I thought about asking her to look for that bag, but then I thought, maybe I should just buy one at Disney!! So that's what I'm going to do.....now just have to decide if it will be the Dooney and Burke???

:woohoo:For another trip:woohoo:

You are not going to believe this but we are going next August:yay: We'll be there with my sister and her family again:woohoo: What are your dates...I sure hope we overlap!!! You buy the slushies then we'll walk to Mexico and I'll buy the margaritas:rolleyes1
