Queen and Jasmine ... a Magical Birthday Trip

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! We are having great weather here, finally, we had so much rain it was ridiculous...I feel so bad for the farmers!

I thought I would take a moment and post our plans for our last 4 days!

Monday, Sep 27

Magic Kingdom - as I type this I realize this is our last day at the MK - well that's just wrong considering we don't leave until the Friday - our plans for this day will be whatever we have missed or better yet all the fun things we love to do over and over again:woohoo: We will once again head back for an afternoon by the pool and then back to MK for ADR's at The Plaza. We really enjoyed this when we went for the first time in January so we're looking forward to going back. We will also stay on this evening for Spectromagic and Wishes. I am going to call and try and book the Wishes Dessert Party:woohoo:

Tuesday, Sep 28

We have no park planned for this day, we will have a bit of a sleep in and then head to DTD, I think we'll do CS breakfast at WPE today....I've heard great things about breakfast there so am excited to try it! Because we don't have a day at the park I am pretty sure we are going to purchase tickets for the MNSSHP on this evening! Not sure yet if I'm going to tell Jasmine or keep it a surprise. I am also considering borrowing my sister's Wicket Queen costume and buying Jasmine a Snow White costume for the evening!! I have WPC ADR's on this evening, so will have to re -schedule that into another day.

Wednesday, Sep 29

Animal Kingdom - the only thing I care about doing at this park is FOTLK, other than that, I'll do whatever Jasmine wants to do....this will mean riding EE over and over again:rolleyes1she'll make me ride KRR and get soaked, no matter where I sit, everytime I ride this I get soaked:lmao:It does keep us cool though. We have ADR's for Tony's Town Square later in the day, but Spectro and Wishes is also on this evening so may move some things around to do the dessert party if I can't get it on the 27th.

Thursday, Sep 30

Epcot - This is the day that we will head out a little later so that we can skip FW and head straight to WS...there is nothing I love more than wondering through WS, looking in all the shops and just relaxing (if that's possible:lmao:)We have an ADR at Tutto Italia (Jasmine's favorite restaurant on property) then we may or may not have an early night...guess it all depends on weather. Considering it's out last night in the World, we usually have the "we can rest when we get home" attitude.

I will try and have most of the packing done before this evening so that we can stay out longer and not worry about it. We still haven't booked our flights yet but I never leave the packing until the morning we're leaving anyways....a little OCD in that area:rolleyes1

I will make one last trip to the hotel gift shop to make sure I don't "need" anything else....I've been so good the last few trips, but I have no idea how we'll be this time. Jasmine went through a faze when she was 13 - 16 where she didn't want to buy anything....but the last 2 trips she bought hoodies and jewellery so we'll see.

I am going to go and try and book the dessert party and go online and purchase the MNSSHP tickets. Wish me luck!!

Good luck getting your party and MNSSHP tickets. I'm sure you'll get what you want. :goodvibes

I've got packing OCD big time. Normally about 1/2 way through the trip I get antsy and we end up at UPS shipping boxes home. :rolleyes1 For some stupid reason I never want to have Disney send them because it takes so dang long. I want to get it home fast so we go to UPS, they pack them, and the boxes arrive when we do.

What a great idea....I think it would cost me a small fortune to send them, we're considered international on the postage system:rolleyes1 I've just found I'm far more relaxed if I take 20 minutes each of our last few days to pack what I know we won't be using anymore. It was so funny, Jasmine's boyfriend was going to Thunder Bay Ontario for a week and the night before Jasmine asked if he was all packed. He said no, I'll do it in the morning....she looked at him and said "you're giving me heart palpitations"....to which I replied, what are you talking about, you've never packed a thing in your life:lmao: She put her arm around me and said "but mom, you've taught me how to be prepared, you just prepare for me:hug:...

This I would love to see. :lmao:

:lmao: I told Jasmine my idea this morning and she went for it....now I'll just have to see how hot it is because that Queen costume is pretty heavy...Jasmine told me I didn't really need the costumer:rolleyes1 isn't she a peach:hug:

Great plans for the end of the week. I did not know the WPE had a great breakfast. I will make note of that for future trips. Your nice relaxing days make me long for a long vacation instead of a short one.

Thanks Mary Ellen!

I've heard wonderful things about the french toast and the breakfast pizza! I will take pictures and give you a full report:yay:

I love relaxing too while we're there, but only when we have two weeks, if we have one, we run ourselves to death trying to get everything in:confused3

Your plans sound great! :thumbsup2 I hope it's not too hot and you two can be Snow White and the Queen! It would be adorable! :cutie:

Glad to hear you will be attending MNSSHP take tons of pictures for me!

Thanks hon, and I promise I will take a ton of pics for you!

Thanks Dawn! Me too, the fact that I got Jasmine to agree to it alone makes me want to do it no matter what!!!:lmao:

Your trip plans look great. Wish we could rest, but we'll be running the whole time!
Because of your posting I now know what jeggings are too!:upsidedow

Thank you so much! I have to admit though, the more I look at them the more I think I should move stuff around....it's a sickness:lmao:

I am so happy there is more than just me that didn't know what these were, but let me tell you, Jasmine has been wearing them every chance she gets...and raving about how comfy they are:yay:

Hi Queen!

I finally had a chance to drop in and get caught up on your plans. Everything sounds great, of course! Sounds like you have a good mix of "favourites" and "new" for you ADRs :thumbsup2 Taking that afternoon break is always a good idea - DH and I needed it as much as the girls!

Glad all went well on your shopping trip the other weekend...we do definitely lack the outlet shopping here in Canada. There are a few malls around here that call themselves outlets but they are nothing like the one we go to when visiting my parents when they are in South Carolina :confused3

Your costume plans for the Halloween party are fantastic!

Hello my friend!

I have become quite addicted to the afternoon break business....I missed it in January but there was just no time....and it was freezing so we would have looked like fools by the pool:lmao: When we were at AKL last summer with my sis and her family, after pool time Jasmine and I would go upstairs, I would grab a half an hour laying on the bed, but not Jasmine, she would head straight out to the balcony....we got so spoiled being there.

My sis and her family get home tomorrow Minneapolis and I'm hoping she got some great buys at the outlet mall in Albertville, but people at work say it's not like the outlets in the south.

I'm excited about our costumes....I just hope it's not too too hot:rolleyes1

Hope everyone is having a great week!

I am happy to let you all know that I went online and purchased our MNSSHP:cool1: I have to say I am pretty darned excited! Gives us another evening in MK, what's not to love about that:lovestruc

My luck didn't continue though when I went to book the Dessert Party....no such luck....no room on either of the nights it would have worked for us. I know people cancel all the time, so I am going to continue to try:banana:

Aladdin has been away on vacation for the past week and is due home this evening. Jasmine is on pins and needles...they are driving through northern Ontario and a wicked storm we had last evening is hitting there now...we're keeping our fingers crossed they take it slow and make it home safe and sound. This particular storm actually produced a tornado not far from the city....there seems to be more and more every year.

My sis and her family are also due back this evening from Minneapolis. They are for sure going to WDW (her and her hubby) from Sep 23 - 28 and staying at the Grand Floridian! It has always been her dream to stay there and since they are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary I think it's a great choice! Jasmine is a tad on the jealous side! They will be going to MNSSHP but a different evening than us. Hopefully we'll spend a little bit of time together, but I completely understand when you have two children at home, it's nice to have adult time!!;)

:yay: for MNSSHP! We want lots and lots of pics!
I'll cross my fingers that a Dessert Party opens up for you!

Hello. I am joining in, and I am all caught up! :yay:

~Target - Ahhh, Target. I really think they should charge me a $100 admission fee. I rarely leave there without dropping that much or more. It got to where if we had a prescription to pick up I sent DH so I wouldn't break the bank!

~ I love your plans! I think it is great that you pack in as much as you can. I agree, you can rest when you get home!

~I had my first grand marnier last week! I wanted to get a grey goose slushie (love the name more) but the orange called my name!

Looking forward to reading more!

Oh, don't be too sad about outlets. IMO, the deals aren't what they were. Many stores stopped carrying the clothes from past seasons and started making "outlet" lines which aren't the same quality. I find that I usually do better at TJMaxx, Marshalls, and department stores sales.

subbing in. It sounds like you and your daughter have quite the trip planned. I can't wait to read the TR.

It sounds like you have a great relationship, that is so nice to hear. And your daughter is just lovely.

and MNSSHP, I'm so jealous

:goodvibes for a possible cancellation on the dessert party so that you and Jasmine might attend :goodvibes

Can't wait to read what else you are planning. :)

Thanks Dawn:hug: I just couldn't imagine being there with it on and not doing it....that's just craziness....AND Caitlin would have been very disappointed in us:lmao:

I'm hoping for the DP too, but I can live without that:confused3did I just say that:lmao:

:welcome:I am so glad you're here!

I'm glad I'm not the only one, I get all caught up in the excitement of being there, that before I know it my cart is half full!

I'm gonna let you in on a little secret....last summer my sis and I tried the Grand Marnier and the Grey Goose....now we may or may not have had one in each hand, but there's no photos to prove this.....:lmao:

Jas loves TJMaxx and the last 2 trips down she has really lucked in there, me not so much, oh wait, that's cause I'm too busy running around getting her different colors and sizes:worship:

:welcome:I just posted on your TR....how funny is that?

We really do have fun together, she makes me laugh and makes me crazy but I love her to death. I promise I will take lots of pictures of MNSSHP....I'm excited about dressing up too. I think we'll take shorts and a t-shirt just in case it gets too hot:rolleyes1

I keep thinking of that Weight Watchers scale when I get back, but last trip I only gained 3 pounds.....
