Many prayers dear Pea with love always. God has this and always you!

Extra prayers and to you and your daughter dear Dazed and for PollyannaMom and Taz hadDad's. Easyas' DIL too. Dear Bobbi, continued strength and healing. Tiger, dear Lynn also. God is reminding you of His love and that His will especially where those He trusts us to love and care for, will be done. I believe this at heart even as a situation I am in related to this becomes more challenging. God never changes. His love endures forever and joy will come in the morning!

I would still appreciate extra prayers for my Dad and I. Dad did come yesterday. He also had to walk up the hill to do so because he parked at a meter. He was hurting and worn out when he left. Horribly my situation here with an immediate care need taking a sad turn made things harder. God is always good and in control.

Extra reminder to always get any agreement especially one healthcare related in writing at the time a favorable resolution is made. Do not wait or skip doing this, please!

Dad does have a doctor's appointment today. He admitted yesterday that his medication is not helping :( He will be taking a taxi to his appointment which I am thankful he is doing.

Right now for me is such a hard time because in any other place an opportunity for a patient to receive care that will make a recovery huge difference to them and at zero cost to the facility would be embraced. Not here :( I am keeping this in prayer and know God got me this far, He will see me through.

Happy Thursday dear friends.

Hi friends.

Just a drive by.

Mona, I know you and your dad have had a lot of health problems this past year. We have, in Maryland an ombudsman program. I did some searching and googling and found this. If you have not already tried this, it might be worth a phone call.

Hey there! hope you & family are all doing well!

Great link w/ a lot of info. I think Mona will find a lot of resources there.

Hi everyone, hope you all are doing well. Pea we are thinking of you & hoping the long slog of recovery you have ahead of you goes well.

Still no baby. Dr. giving her a week then inducing.

So nice to see you dear Carol! You are missed and so appreciated my friend. Thank you for the link. I have tried to contact the Ombudsman and will again tomorrow.

My situation is literally one where the adminstrator/director gave me his verbal consent on a critical care issue last Thursday. He is currently on vacation. Yesterday (the first time) he was contacted he claimed he had told me no! Two hours later, he admitted saying yes. But he also said he gave me his consent before talking to his boss. Last Monday (June 30th) he had a long lunch with his boss. He had told me in front of a fellow resident who is a friend and supporter of mine that before he could approve he had to get his boss' permission. Which based on our conversation, he had.

Again what I am asking involves zero anything to the facility. It just means everything to me and my well being. Dad is also being impacted by all this which absolutely hurts my heart. And so is God's angel who honestly has been a human angel to me who wants to help me. Sad all around. Further prayers and fighting this to come.

I am being very vague to protect privacy. I realize that makes all this harder to follow and I'm sorry. I can share more by PM to any of you who may be up for listening. Warning it is LONG and hard to read both because of length and that I am so blessed all of you care about me and will be angry for me. God, of course, knows. He also knows how deeply I appreciate all of you.

Dad did get good doctor news. His doctor said within a few weeks dad's back and sude pain should resolve itself. We certainly pray so.

Have a good evening my dear Quacker family. Love always.

Pea So glad you are out of surgery and on the way to healing and recovery. Sending prayers! 🙏

Carol Good to see you.

Flyingdumbo127 Good news for your Dad. I hope your situation gets better.

Good morning. It is 63 with temps heading to 80. Yesterday I was in the office and of course it rained during my travel both ways. It was nice to see everyone and meet the new person. I do prefer not to have to do the drive and I am going to talk with my boss about just coming in when we have an in person meeting or she is out on vacation. I need to lessen the stress in my life. Today I am having lunch with my wonderful MA friend. We have such a nice time. She is so supportive and just a great person.

Have a good day.

@Pea-n-Me Sending prayers for a speedy and as pain free recovery as possible

Good morning. 75 now going to 89 with storms later today. None materialized yesterday, it was just plain hot and humid.

Apparently Tiger has decided she's only going to show up at or a little after dinnertime, eat, sleep on the chair for awhile, and then disappear again. 2 days in a row she's done this. She does look skinny, so at least she knows where food is if she wants it.

Once again, Summer has no priorities. Her water got shut off on Wednesday, and she never noticed it until yesterday when she went to put water in her koi pond. Gracie and her have been pet sitting for a lady down the street, and taking showers there because one of Lily's cats knocked a big shelf over and it landed on and broke a water pipe last Sunday. She's waiting for her husband to get home from work on Tuesday to fix it. She called the water dept and they told her maybe the notice got lost in the mail. The issue with that is they don't mail them, they put hangars on your door with the disconnect notice, so she had to have had some idea. The water bill is $479! :confused3 They told her she has to pay the past due $275 to have it turned back on. How can anyone have a water bill that high (I was thinking last night, that amount would pay my entire water bill for close to 3 years! She had just paid the cell phone bill on Monday after they disconnected it to get it turned back on and she paid the rent on Wed, so she has no money to pay the water bill until next week when he gets his pay. Those should all have been paid instead of going to Ocean City, but you can't convince her that there are more important things. She's going to have to get herself out of it this time, I can't do it anymore. I have my own bills to pay because I have my priorities straight. It just leaves me shaking my head.

Have a good day everyone

Good evening.

Today is my 44th anniversary and while the road to get here has been a bit like a roller coaster ride, we have weathered the ups and downs. We did go out to dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. Jim checked with them earlier in the week and they assured him that I could eat there. The assistant manager and food manager went above and beyond making sure that my meal was prepped with no risk of cross contamination. The food manager personally over saw the prep and made sure that anyone handling my food, dishes, etc. all changed gloves so that there was no risk. Then the assistant manager comped us a dessert and extra rolls with their fantastic butter. It was nice to not have breakfast or to cook at home. Even better we had gift cards we could finally use.

Hope you all are had a good day.

Taz Happy anniversary. Sounds like you had a great meal and everyone went above and beyond to make sure your food was safe for you.

Pea Thinking of you as you rest and recover.

Lynn Glad Tiger is making an appearance. Is there any way she has a litter of kittens somewhere? Summer needs to get her priorities in place. As much as we want to help adult children sometimes we just need to let them make the mistakes and find a way out. You have helped her so much. Now she needs to help herself.

Good morning. It will finally be sunny today and in the 80s. Jeff and family are heading to the Cape to spend a week with Aimee's family. I had a nice lunch with my MA friend yesterday. She can always make me feel better. Today is errands and housework.

Have a good Saturday.

Good morning dear Quacker family.

Bobbi and Pea, love and peaceful weekend prayers of much healing.

Dazed, Easyas, PollyannaMom, and Taz prayers for each of your family members in extra need and, of course always, you know that, to each of you, too with love.

Carol, Lynn, and Snowysmom, love to all three of you, of course, and Saturday joy.

Thinking extra of AuntieMe3 (Has anyone heard from her)?, Footballmouse, and Frog. Tina, too and anyone I inadvertently missed.

Dad and I had a real nice visit yesterday. God willing, he will come again tomorrow. He has a lot of laundry to take care of today. I am deeply praying my urgent care need will be resolved as it should have been already before the end of next week. It's not even close to okay to be given extremely positive, life and recovery changing news only to be told a few days later, no and as though that is of no consequence. Thank you all so much for your extra care and prayer.

Good morning.

Happy Anniversary @tazdev3225 44 years, wow!

@Snowysmom Tiger was only missing for 2 weeks, and she was in no way pregnant before she disappeared., so I'm sure there are no kittens anywhere. She's had them in the past, and never left the yard.

They say it will be sunny and 93 today with no chance of rain, but right now the sky is gray and full of clouds and it sure looks like rain. It must have rained overnight, because the deck was wet with puddles this morning.

Mysteriously, Summer had her water turned back on yesterday, no idea where the got the money to pay the past due plus the reconnect fees.

I did a full house cleaning yesterday, so today is a day off. The only thing I had to do was strip and remake the bed.

Have a good day
