Quarantine and chill and kindness chatty clubhouse: Jump in and join the conversation! All is welcome!

Good morning. Was sunny, now clouding over. They say storms after noontime. Calling for more tonight. Temps only in the 70's which is fine. I turned the ac off and opened the windows back up this morning. I slept so good with it on last night, but I don't want to use it all the time.

Heading to the market and to do errands before the weather changes.
Have a nice day

Late good night post with all my love and sweet dreams. I do have a PT update to share. I received a text from company 1 this afternoon informing me I was on their therapist broadcast list. I was under the impression from my conversation on Monday with Tanner, I would have be contacted within 72 hours of Monday. Instead I will be contacted ideally, yes ideally, within 72 hours of today. Tanner explained at times the process can take 2 weeks at which time it can (if agreed on by the client) start over depending on therapist availability:scared1:and disappointed :P God opened a second door by reminding me to call back (also from Monday) company 2. Gary, the man I spoke with wasn't available. I gave my information to his colleague and was told he will call me.

Meanwhile my kind podiatrist, Dr. S, has faxed over a pt referral for me to company 2. Company 1 doesn't require a referral for people paying out of pocket. Company 2 said they do have therapists in my area available. Once they got the referral we can set up an appointment. God willing tomorrow that will happen.

Thank you all always truly for all your exrra love and prayers. I am so blessed God made me a Quacker alongside each of you :)

@FlyingDumbo I hope you hear something today from one of the PT companies. Your podiatrist was very kind to help out.

Good morning. It is 68 now with temps going into the 70s. It was supposed to rain most of the day now it is possible showers. Hope to get my walking in today. I also need to get some birthday wrap and bags. Ellie turns 9 next week. Not sure where the time went. She already seems like such a nice young lady. She is growing so quickly. I got her a couple of craft items as she loves crafts. Next month Owen turns 6 so another birthday to celebrate.

Have a good day.

Happy Friday Eve!

Finally got some rain last night, glad the flowers got watered. Went to Jacob's apartment last night (before the rain) and we rescued 2 very young cats. They weren't the 2 we were planning to get, 1 was though. Jacob couldn't find the buddy of kitten #1 so he just caught kitten #1. When I was leaving his apartment, we saw kitten #3 eating the food that he put out. We scooped him up and put him in the car with the other one. Brought those 2 home and got them set up in Remy's room but they haven't come out from underneath Mia's crib. They are both very friendly so they just need to get used to their surroundings and the other cats. Jacob is keeping an eye out for kitten #2, hopefully we can get him also. Now I just need to find homes for them. I told Jacob he really needs to move, we can't keep getting these cats.

Had some blood work done yesterday morning. In the afternoon I went to my taste test. Thought I was going to be tasting tuna in a pouch but it was bbq in a pouch. Not good at all! I had to go to McDonald's when I left to get the bad aftertaste out of my mouth.

Nothing planned tonight so I'll sit with the kittens, hopefully they'll come out from under the crib. Not sure what is going to be for dinner. They're having a baked potatoe bar today in the cafeteria so I'll buy lunch.

Tomorrow is "sister day" with my sisters, minus 1, she can't make it. We're headed to my sister's for her neighborhood yard sale and then hanging out at her neighborhood pool. Not going to be warm enough to swim but hopefully we can at least get some sun.

Working tomorrow night and Saturday night so I won't be able to enjoy the nice weather this weekend. At least I can turn my air off again for the week. No rain predicted so I'll probably wash my car tonight.

Dumbo - good luck with the PT, hopefully you get a response and an appointment set up soon.

Have a great day!

Good morning. Sunny now, not calling for rain, but there are an awful lot of dark clouds in the sky. Temps 85 or higher today, then from tomorrow on through the next week, temps only in the mid to upper 70's

It was dumping down rain so hard when I came out of Walmart that it was scary. Everyone on the highway had their flashers on and we were all driving like 20 mph. You couldn't see where you were going. It stopped about half an hour after I got home, then started up again, then at dinnertime the sun came out. It did a number on my garden. Knocked some of the stakes sideways, and even though I had the tomato's tied to the stakes it bent some of them over. I just finished fixing everything

IF the lawn dries out enough I'm going to mow today, it's tall again. Usually by June we get no rain and the grass slows down, not this year.

Going to put some laundry in and clean the kitchen

Have a nice day

Hug PollyannaMom. I love the quote. Amen. God makes us new by His great love and mercy morning by morning. Great is Thy Faithfulness is a favorite hymn of mine.

Extra hug and praise to God dear Lynn that you are safe! I am not a rainy day driving fan. I remember one morning something similar happened to me while taking my dad to an appointment. We were both extra thankful to God for safe travels and eventually back home.

Two tornados hit near where my son lives last night. Some homes were damaged and some people were injured.

Son had his father and stepmother visiting for dinner plus his wife's parents. They were finished dinner and a warning came on the phones. Then it got very dark so they headed downstairs. After a few minutes it brightened up and they came up and went outside.

A tree had crashed near my ex's truck. The softer limbs hit it and they had to get the chainsaw to free a part of it. Fortunately no bigger damage but it does have some scratches. It's a brand new 2024 Santa Cruz.

Meanwhile I was in the path earlier on my side of town, but no problems this time. It's only June. Going to be a long summer.

Oh, and did I mention the snake in my greenhouse? We removed it this morning. Or, rather, I stood nearby while DD removed it.

I heard about it this morning , but wasn't sure where it had touched down.

Glad the damage wasn't worse and that none of them were injured

I wouldn't have been standing anywhere nearby. I would be in the house, far far away!

Judique So scary about the tornadoes. Glad no one was injured.

Lynn You are always so busy. What kind of carpet cleaner do you have? My 2 bedrooms have wall to wall carpet and a cleaner would be nice.

Good morning. It is 64 here with temps heading into the 80s. Yesterday I was able to get in walking between the rain showers. It is supposed to be sunny today. Maybe it will be a lake day. Tomorrow Kenny's kids have their last baseball game of the season so I will go to that. He does not have them this weekend so the soon to be ex will be bringing the kids and staying for the game. We are cordial but that is it. Kenny has not heard when the divorce proceedings will be rescheduled. I know he wants it done as it is almost 2 years since they separated. I have been looking at videos of Crystal Cave in Bermuda. Kenny wants to go there on our cruise. Everyone says the stairs are steep and slippery. In fact one of the video people actually fell on the stairs and got bruised. So it is a pass for me. I can do stairs but slippery is a game changer with my knee replacements. I will wait for them and enjoy the scenery and the gift shop. They will be gone only 30 minutes.

Have a good day.
