Good morning!
It’s been getting warmer/hot each afternoon, so we just turned the air on.
I’ve changed the hummingbird food, but so far, no sightings this year. The young catbirds are starting to come to our feeders now. This year, they are my favorites!
The horseshoe crabs are mating! This is a yearly happening and always exciting!

Good day to everyone.
Mona, I’m so glad you found a company that fits your needs!

Good sunny morning. Going to be 85 or so. I did all the yardwork yesterday, because the weather said it was going to rain today. Um, nope, not a raindrop in sight. There is tomorrow though. So at least the yard is done and looks nice and neat. I was going to put the new blinds up today, but think I'll wait until it rains tomorrow. I want to do and sit on the deck and do nothing for awhile today.
Took the trash down and cleaned out the litterboxes. Put a load of towels in the washer, and did the cats dishes. My life is so exciting, lol. NOT!

Have a nice day everyone

Dr's appt this morning for my ear - everything seems to be okay.

But - now I have to go to the dermatologist because he noticed a slight discoloration on my cheek. I think I've had it forever. Didn't say anything as it's best to get checked out.

Plus, 3 years ago lost my ex's brother due to Merkel Cell Carcinoma. Nothing to fool around with.

Agreed. Hope it's fine!

Flyingdumbo127 Glad to hear the PT update.

Judique Always best to get things checked out.

I went into the office today instead of Thursday. I got title info in the mail yesterday but not the title copy. I called my lienholder who told me MA is an electronic title state so the info I have should be enough to transfer the title and registration to my name. So I went to the office early. worked a bit, and then left to go to the registry as it is only 15 minutes from my office. I figured I would have a fight for this. I met the nicest person at the CS desk who kind of "triages" customers. He told me I needed a title, I told him what my lienholder said, he then told me he was taking me to his supervisor and she would help me. She said I needed I title but I told her my story and she said, let me see what I can do. And she did her magic! She looked up the title, made the changes, then told me she had to get it approved and then she could finish up. It would take 15 minutes or so. I sat and waited. She got the OK and called me over. I got the change made and my registration renewed. I told her she made my day and how kind she was and how much I appreciated her help. I asked her to tell the guy at the CS desk thank you for bringing me to her. I actually got her to smile. I was so thankful. I feel like I had some help from above as the stars had to align just right to find people at the registry to want to help like this. Maybe it was good karma but whatever, I am so grateful and so thankful I just about danced out of the registry. I was talking with Jeff Sunday and he said that if the registry situation alone was making me so stressed and anxious he would be concerned. He told that it goes much deeper than just the registration and title. He is so intuitive and he is right. This is the last car Chris and I bought together and drove in together. Having to deal with this issue pushed me back a few steps. I miss Chris so much right now. Last night I did alot of crying. I do know in my heart he was helping me and I did ask the working angels for help. My belief system. It didn't help that the Hallmark movie last night was about a young widow and widower. I had to change that channel! Now I have a new date tag on my license plate and a new registration in my car. It hurts that it is just in my name but it had to be done. I will save the one that has Chris name on it too. Thanks for listening to my tale of woe. I am grateful to have this place to come to and ramble.

Have a good rest of the day. I splurged today and bought some pulled pork and rolls for dinner. I will have a salad on the side.

@Snowysmom Chris was helping you out. Now that issue is solved, and the car is in your name. Make new memories with it!

We're in the middle of a thunderstorm, so much for no rain today.

I'm proud of myself. I had bought all new blinds for the house back in 2021. Then I ended up in the hospital. Summer started putting them up, but then had her shoulder surgery, so it got stopped. Today, I put my big girl pants on , and got the last 3 up in the living room and the other 3 big tall ones in the kitchen. Washed the curtains, the window sills, and the windows before I put them up. These are all cordless ones now, so of course they had to mount at the top instead of at the sides of the windows. A little more challenging, and a few not nice words were said, and thought, but they're all up and everything's back in place. Hurray for me, lol!

Have a nice evening

Hey everyone, thought I would check in and tell you that James' one year post transplant bone marrow biopsy showed no signs of leukemia, no signs of mutation. Thank you for your prayers! God is good and miracles do happen. He has been corresponding with his donor and hopes to meet her in a couple of years.
Carol and kids are doing well. A trial date is set for mid July. Hopefully all will be settled then.
It's been raining a lot here and the heat index is over 100. Todays air was very hard to breathe, even for those without breathing issues. Very thick and humid, just nasty. We're expecting rain overnight and some tomorrow afternoon. I'm not going to complain about the rain though, we'll be praying for it come August.
Take care!

Kirby So good to hear from you. Great news about James. Good thoughts for July.

Lynn Sounds like a busy day. Glad you accomplished what you wanted to.

Good morning. It is 60 now with temps heading into the 80s. It is supposed to rain Thursday and Friday. I am so glad I do not have to drive to the office in the rain Thursday. Thank you everyone for your wise words. I am truly grateful the registry issue is behind me. Now I just need to get back emotionally. I have been making new memories as I now have 2 car seats in the back seat of the car for the grandkids. We will be using the car to get to the port for our cruise. I went to NH in 2022 with my friend, drove down the Kancamagus myself for the first time in it, and I have parked it at Logan Express to go on trips to Disney and a cruise. Now I need to start making plans for the cruise even if it just thinking about reading on the balcony or people watching in the atrium. Kenny wants to go to the Crystal caves in Bermuda. I want to watch a you tube video to be sure it is something I want to do and will be comfortable walking down and back up all the steps.

Have a good day.

Good morning!

Don’t have a lot of time but wanted to drop in to say hello.

@Snowysmom, so glad that’s all taken care of now. Jeff is wise. Glad you’re making new memories. Your cruise sounds like fun. We’ve been thinking about a cruise, too. It’s been a while since our last one.

@Kirby so glad to hear your news about James! ❤️ I hope things go well with the trial.

@footballmouse Would love to see a picture of your cork flag! It reminded me that DD and I recently took an art class and made these beautiful things. She is going to hang them in her apt when we finish doing it over. I’m not really an artsy person (other than photography) so I was a little lost at first, but DD googled an image of one and I sort of copied it. I thought it came out good (top one). I would’ve been even better had there been a starfish to use. (But I made a turtle, lol.)

Bobbi I wish I could see your pictures! I always remember seeing horseshoe crabs on Cape Cod when I was little.

@flyingdumbo127 I didn’t see an update I might’ve missed it. I’ll look back.

Yesterday I went to get an inspection sticker and was told I need new front brakes. 😬 Right before four upcoming trips in to work. Ugh. Going to drop car off Monday. I think they’re ok, I didn’t even realize there was an issue, I just had the back ones done not too long ago, I would’ve thought they would’ve let me know if the others looked like they needed changing then, too. We washed the cars in the driveway over the weekend, they came out nice.

DD and I did a little shopping therapy yesterday. Everything I tried on fit, which was nice. I got a cute, easy dress, a pair of jean clamdiggers (lol), and several tops. All were reasonably priced.

Have to head out soon. I hope you all have a nice Wednesday! 🐥

Happy Hump Day!🐪

Did my hair study yesterday, one more appointment to go. Rain is supposed to be coming today. Of course, I was going to the park up the street for a Neil Diamond concert but the rain will most likely cancel it.⛈️

Jacob texted me last night saying they found 2 kittens in their parking lot 🐈🐈‍⬛. I'm going to head over later (hopefully before the rain) and try to catch them. I think it will be easier to find homes for kittens vs a cat. He said that he's only seen the two, no mom. I told him that he needs to move!

Glad to hear that your son's biopsy showed good news! Now lets hope that your daughter has good news in July.🤞

Snowysmom - I'm sure it was hard to take that big step with the title, now on to new memories.🙂

Pea-n-me - cute craft! I'll post a picture of the flag below. It's okay, good enough to hang on my door for a couple of holidays.🇺🇲

Working from home today. I have to run to my dr's to get blood work done for a check-up. Later this afternoon I have a taste test to do, tasting tuna in a pouch. I'd really like to get a pedicure done but I think that's going to have to wait until tomorrow night. The kitten situation threw my plans off.😒

That's about it, have a great day!
