It's hard to believe that Lily turns 18 today. All of our grandbabies grew up too fast. Gracie is the youngest one, and she'll be 16 in May.

Our Lilly (greatgranddaughter) turns 17 tomorrow. You are right, they grow up way too fast. But what a wonderful journey it has been! And we are so blessed to have been able to be a part of this journey.

Great news! Tom’s heart is good! A cardio Catheterization showed no problems with Tom’s heart, no blood clots!! We have more to learn, but things look good!

Good morning. It is 33 here today and not supposed to get too much warmer. The only thing on my agenda today is the car to the dealer for its' checkup. I bring a book and a breakfast bar and wait. I know I won't be seeing Kenny and kids this weekend. Not sure about Jeff and family but it has been 2 weeks so I am hoping they have some time to see me. Next weekend is Charlotte's 5th birthday party at the Y. I am going but you know how it is, the kids will be running around like crazy doing gymnastics and other fun stuff. At least I can see them having fun.

My bathroom wall is now painted and back to what it looked like before they had to cut holes in it to fix the shower. I find it looks strange because the holes were there with the plaster pieces taped in place for longer than I had the nice wall.

Have a good Saturday. Off to clean the bathrooms before going to get my car serviced.

Good luck with the car, @Snowysmom. I get what you mean about things just not looking "right" after a small change, even if it's objectively an improvement. I find that sometimes if I move things - even though the new place is more logical, I end up clumsily looking in the old place.

Good Morning dear

Snowysmom and PollyannaMom, I agree with both of you about how sometimes things feel off. Maybe this is part of why I typically prefer the original of some product to its "new and improved," counterpart. Of course some change is quite positive!

Monday morning I will need to make more healthcare calls. Frustrating so much red tape. Yesterday, I learned that while I am covered, because the system may have glitches , I am not showing as active. Makes absolutely no sense, I agree. Bottom line is I need to call Monday to be reinstated. This is all because I have a HMO (Need a doctor's referral for anything especially to see a specialist) vs. PPO (can see anyone in network no referral necessarily needed). I could, btw, have these two terms switched! What I have was the free, much more available option last yeat which was why I chose it. May need to reconsider. I am extra grateful for those of you already blessed with quality and needed care, that is a gift indeed. I am also so blessed myself to have options.

Good cloudy morning. It rained overnight, and they're calling for showers today, but the sun is trying to come out.
I got an early start on chores. Cleaned the litter boxes, stripped the bed, and washed the floors.

I did 2 miles on the treadmill yesterday, going to try and up it a little today. I don't want to overdo it. It's nice because it has bluetooth for my phone and I can listen to music while I walk, and look out the window at the same time.

Going to clean the bathrooms and decide on something for dinner. I'm craving Chinese, so I may call in for delivery.

@lynxstch, I have said it before, you are amazingly active and I admire your energy so very much!!

Tom called. He has some answers. Enzymes may be from his kidneys, not the heart. They have used dye for some procedures and his kidneys negatively react to that.

As far as the pain he has felt at times…well, no answer yet.

He has been given an echocardiogram and pending the results he could be discharged and even be without the life vest.

Nancy and Garry will visit him, and if he is not going to be discharged, I will go visit him later and they will take care of Gus.

Our weather is nuts. It was supposed to rain today. Instead it snowed. It came down heavy, but it didn't stick at all. Now the sun is out and the sky is blue, just in time for sunset. Absolutely crazy.

47 degrees here at 5:18 and a forecast for mixed rain and snow between 8 and 9pm It says 38 for 8pm dropping to 27 by tomorrow morning. Wish I were already on my way back to Disney!

Edit: Oh and then it's 64,66,67 respectively Mon through Wednesday.

Tom is home! He is weak, and needs rest. His numbers from electrocardiograph are good, he’s not wearing the life vest!

Our oldest daughter just texted me that she and her DH just landed at Detroit airport from Jamaica. Our temp here is 26 degrees. I told her she was going to be sorry. But tomorrow is Lilly's birthday party so we will see everyone then.

Good morning, all

Had a nice day yesterday - went to a free painting class put on by the library, visited DH's folks for a while, and went out to dinner with DH.

Nothing big planned for today - packing up the Valentines decorations and putting out a couple of St. Patrick's Day things, finishing up some laundry, etc.

Good morning. It got down to 21 again last night, will be sunny and 45 today. In the 60's tomorrow and Tuesday and near 70 on Wednesday but chance of rain all week long. Mother Nature must think it's Spring already.

I tried watching Elemental on Disney+ last night, but after 10 minutes I gave up. First time I haven't been able to make it through a whole Disney or Pixar movie.

I walked 2 miles twice on the treadmill yesterday. Trying to work up a little at a time, to take it easy on my legs.

Off to do a quick clean on both bathrooms and put a load of towels in the washer.
