Good afternoon everyone -
I have salt therapy tomorrow which I am trying out for my anxiety, stress, and sleep issues.
I look forward to hearing how you found it - I've heard great things about it but haven't yet tried it myself (yet!).
Don managed to find 2 owners manuals last night, on the Maytag site.
My new truck came without a Owners Manual - it's all online or wherever thru the truck computer screen. How the hell I'm supposed to look up what is going wrong with it if I can't get it to turn over

I keep meaning to print it out and stick it in the glove box but I haven't yet.
I forgot to say that today is Grady’s “Gotcha“ Day!

So we are making it his birthday.
I'm bad at this, I can barely keep my kids birthdays straight much less remember the dogs! My husband has a good memory for that stuff though, so he will every so often say he thinks it's one of the dogs birthdays-
Stuff is everywhere right now in the house, and it’s driving me crazy.
I feel your pain. Our basement remodel is almost done, walls painted, floor down, bathroom fixtures almost in and kitchenette is done except for putting the fridge & ice maker in. Trim isn't up anywhere yet though, but I did get a nice, big 10 X13 rug for down there but haven't unrolled it yet so I can keep it clean until everything is done. There is crap everyone, or so it seems!
Haven't been that great with keeping up here, not a whole lot new to say or add....I sometimes get tired of typing "xyz and salad for dinner tonight" ! Life is keeping us happily busy and doing this & that-no complaints about that. We did watch the Preakness Saturday (after I was done showing and my mother & I decided to get away from our breeding program- we had over 50 horses at one time ) my parents had two racehorses for a few years, so I still find myself watching from time to time, although I don't follow it religiously. Glad the weather held off so they had a dry run. Yesterday I accidently got a great buy - long story short I needed a new dining room set but every time I went furniture shopping I never really found anything I loved. I found stuff that was ok, and had resolved to just spend to much $$$ on a set that was just ok and not have it for 3 or 4 months when I stumbled upon a Estate Sale online. So I found a simple dining table with 4 (matching) chairs with non-matching upholstery, and it was just over in Annapolis so I ended up bidding just a few bucks, in this case $45 and was the high bidder. We figured worst case scenario it would be a shady deal or the table would look a lot worse in person and we'd be out $45 and the 45 minutes it took to drive to Annapolis and I'd have to order the other stuff. BUT when we got there I was somewhat surprised to find that the table was smaller than I realized - which is good for my needs- and that it was in perfect condition, as were the chairs except there were six of them, not 4. And they were solid cherry and all Ethan Allen! There was a Henkle Harris side table, too - but I didn't bid on it since I didn't need it but now I'm thinking I should have cause I could have gotten a hell of a deal! Anyhow, as you can imagine I was tickled beyond tickled for that get. I know I'll never get that lucky again!
So, at least that is off my list of things to do around the house. I still need two new chairs for the sitting room, and two new bar stools for the kitchen but I'll get to them eventually.
No great plans/exciting things going on this week. I've got my standing every 2 week pedicure appt. on Wednesday, one of the pups has a dr. appt for vaccines on Thursday afternoon, Friday youngest son & wife coming over for the weekend and I'm thinking we will have a cook out at some point over the weekend down by the water.
Baby deer should be showing up any time now, but so far all we've got is button bucks and fat moms down by the food plot. We usually get a set of twins or two so hoping to see if those does are still around. Got my wildflowers in last weekend and this coming weekend we will plow the areas and plant the sunflowers. I also put up a arbor in my mini pumpkin/gourd patch on Sunday. We have gourds that grow up in the woods so I'm interested to see how I make out actually making it a point to train them on the arbor. If it works well I'm going to put a nicer, more substantial & permanent arbor up - right now I just am using a cheapy black metal one I picked up for a little bit of nothing off of
Amazon. I hope it's sturdy enough, time will tell I guess.
Welp, time to get back to work. I just wanted to take a few moments and check in.
