Snowysmom, I am loving the vision of you having your coffee out on your balcony with coffee in your cardinal cup and hearing a cardinal.

I know other moments were tougher, but that’s a baby step, and it made me happy to hear that this morning. Have another nice day with your family. PS I grew up going to Stone Zoo (when I think it used to be called Stoneham Zoo) it’s been years since I’ve been there, too.
Easyas, sorry to hear you’re positive and stuck in the house. Tough when people come into work sick. A concern of mine if I get it before testing positive, too, is that I could potentially expose patients (and staff). Unfortunately when that happens, all patients have to go on isolation for ten days, which is a lot of extra work for everyone, not to mention super isolating for the patient who then can’t come out of their room, and can’t have visitors (unless expected to pass), etc. It’s happened before and I don’t want to be that person! It sounds like you’re past the worst of it, and I hope you continue to feel better.
DD is still having symptoms of chest burning and shortness of breath. She and bf went for an ice cream after their dinner last night and it was crowded so they had to park a distance away. She had to stop to catch her breath a couple of times while walking

and her heart rate is still high. Hopefully those symptoms start to subside soon. Damn disease!
Lynn I’m glad the MilkBone story gave you a chuckle. He does it all the time if Grady doesn’t eat his! He does the same thing, too, with the dental chew I give them in the morning! We have to watch them. Grady’s bowl holder is also high up. Toto can’t really reach in. The other night DD snapped a picture of him standing on his tip toes eating his food! We have to watch him, he’ll be getting tubby, and his weight was good last month at the vet’s. (22#) Otoh, we also have to keep Grady away from Toto’s bowls, he’ll eat his food, too. Toto doesn’t often eat right away, so we have to pull his food up. It‘s a constant thing, lol. Grady has a vigorous lap of his water and makes a bit of a mess. I bought different place mats for both of them, they have a lip so stuff doesn’t spill out. He’s pretty good with his food, though, eats quietly.
Last night we wound up throwing the chicken and beef skewers on the grill, and we made another caprese salad, and DH and DS had ribs and butternut squash. All were really good. The chicken was jerk flavor and very hot and spicy! The beef was like a teriyaki, I think. Pretty good, will buy again. They said the ribs were good, too. Earlier I saw DH scooting to our downstairs fridge with a bag of…. mackerel!

They caught a bunch for bait (I guess they use a special rod that catches a bunch at once) and were freezing. I said please just make sure they are all dead first, lol. Some they let go. And when they catch big fish, they let them go, catch and release. They said the Coast Guard was out yesterday and boarding boats to check to see if they had all their paperwork and no booze. They boarded the boat next to theirs at one point. I guess they saw some small porpoises out there, too. They don’t want to go out today or tomorrow as it will be crazy with lots of people drinking on their boats. We all sat out on the screened porch last night and had some drinks and played song trivia, it was fun. DS cannot be beat with Disney music, it’s unreal what he knows. (Like, even the theme songs for rides, resorts, and individual pavilions, etc.)
Have a haircut this afternoon, am going to take dogs for a romp first to let them get some energy out. We still crate Grady when we go out as he’s got separation anxiety and chews shoes and other things. (8 yrs old, right!) But Toto sits right next to him and he’s comforted by that, and doesn’t seem to mind at all. Will probably get some lunch somewhere and sit outside, lol. May attempt the Italian stuff for dinner later, if still hungry. Have a good day, everyone!
