QOTD Do you like the month of February?
I'm like dazed, it's just another month.
QOTD Will you watch the Olympics?
I will watch some. The GKs pretty much rule the tv during the day and early evening. I usually don't get a chance to sit down during the week until about 8:00 pm anyway. Weekends are a grab bag. I like most of the winter sports. I just get tired of all of the talking.
It felt so good to be able to go back to church after three weeks of staying home because of Covid. I wonder when I should begin wearing a mask again since I'll have some Covid antibodies in me.
We had a great discussion last night about our January book The Radium Girls. One of our members is a retired history teacher and she had a lot of information for us. It's worth reading.
I finished the 4th book, Last Ragged Breath, in the Bell Elkins series by Julia Keller. It's based in the fictional town of Ackers Gap, West Virginia. It's a good series.
We're expecting some pretty cold weather here starting tomorrow night. We in the area that is projected to be hit with sleet, ice and snow. Depending on how much, we may be stuck for a couple of days because the temperatures will not get high enough to melt anything until Saturday. The worst part are the weathermen hyping everyone up.
Haven't decided what we're having for dinner tonight yet. Could be pizza or could be grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup. Who knows?

Snowysmom. I'm so glad your DS does live on a quiet street. Please be careful though on your walks!
so very much PollyannaMom! I feel awful though to need to say it's not letting me download it to save. it says it can't be downloaded securely?
I'm sorry! I can always take a picture of it if need be and upload that. I don't want you to make an extra effort! I appreciate (YOU always
's for your not sleeping well, and it being the 47'th anniversary of your first date with Chris. I am sure that brings up a lot of happy, and now some sad memories for you. But you will get through it, still taking one step at a time, one day at a time. I appreciate your always telling us when it's a 'special' day, as we all care for you and are pulling for you to make it through this. Take care of yourself, and may today at least bring you a smile or 2 at recalling that special first date.

. That really sucks because that means I'll have to go out in all the rain to pick it up. I was really hoping to be able to pick it up on the way home from work, oh well, at least I don't have to go out tomorrow with all the ice. I'll put the groceries away and then get comfy and watch The Amazing Race.
